Her great aunt on her mothers side had also had the gift and passed it down to Sarah. It started when she was a baby, At random moments, sometimes with days, weeks, months even in-between each one, the young girl would go very silent, pale and cold and then snap out of it suddenly and cry for ages. She continued to get the visions (and same symptoms) as she grew up however, she kept it to herself and her family until just recently. As she's grown up, her visions have gotten more intense and bit more frightening, but she's gotten to a point where having them is sort of a comfort: if she knows something is about to happen, she might be able to help stop it before it can. In her visions, she also is able to feel all of the sensations (emotional and physical) that the main person the vision is focused on is feeling. Tell me who you are, I'm sure you're some kind of superstar. Free Style Sarah Jane Finnigan was born to Seamus Finnigan and Lavender (Brown) Finnigan on the 12th of April in 2006. As the oldest daughter, the couple had plenty of time to spend watching over their new daughter and noticing all of her little quirks. It was obvious right away that there was something strange about her. At random moments, sometimes with days, weeks, months even in-between each one, the young girl would go very silent, pale and cold and then snap out of it suddenly and cry for ages. After this had happened a few times, her parents took her to St. Mungos and had her checked out. She had been having visions and was born a Seer. There was naturally nothing the healers could do to make it stop, they just simply advised the parents how to better prepare their daughter and their lives for her condition. Sarah had inherited the talent from her great aunt on her mothers side. No one had believed that she was a seer and had pushed her into hiding and deemed her the crazy lady of the town. A little over a year after she was born, her parents gave birth to another baby girl. Sarah loved playing with her younger sister, her own personal doll. Growing up, Elizabeth was always the only person whom could calm Sarah down after she would have a particularly bad vision. However, due to their parents being friends, Sarah also spent a lot of time growing up with the Weasleys and the Potters. She got close to a handful of them and continued to stay close to them during her school years. At the age of 11, she received her Hogwarts letter and her parents packed her up and put her on the Hogwarts express. That same night she was sorted into Gryffindor house just as her mother and her father had been. Of course, a lot of her friends from he childhood had made it into Gryffindor as well and the tower and the school began to feel extremely like home to the young lady. However, she had been keeping a secret. Due to the way that her Great aunt had been treated, Sarah and her family hadn't told anyone else about her special abilities. Her parents were supportive of her decision to keep it to herself. Thus, during school she would always have to be extra careful when she got that beginning feeling of a vision coming on. She could nearly always tell when one of them was about to happen. She would start to get immediately faint and light headed. Despite the above, Sarah didn't spend all of her time at school hiding out due to her visions. She was a huge Quidditch fan and loved to watch the Gryffindor team and her friends who were on the team play. She had never decided to play the game herself because she was afraid that she would have a vision in mid air in the middle of a game and fall of her broom, causing Gryffindor to loose. So she stuck to watching and cheering. While she was a decent student, once she graduated, she decided that it was going to be best to get a low key job somewhere where she could hide and manage her condition on her own if she needed to. She got a job bar tending at the Leaky Cauldron and from the start she knew it was going to be a good fit for her. And while now she has finally told everyone about her condition and her friends have come around and forgivved her for keeping a secret from them, life seems to be sort of perfect for the young lady. Though, she's still getting used to people knowing and the new way that everyone looks at her. But, with her proud, Gryffindor personality, she knows how to not let it get to her.
