§ CHÂTEAU DE FAE

The sprawling Chateau De Fae is six hundred acres across in the wild terrain of Nouvelle Aquitaine. It is surrounded in three directions by dense forest, and by sandy beach and high cliffs in the final direction. In the more tamed acres of the estate are the fruit orchards, an indoor horse arena, an open air horse arena, a hundred acres of pasture, the De Fae botanical garden, the stable, the servant quarter buildings and at the center of the hundred acre pasture, a sandy bottomed, crystal clear five acre lake.


Finally, the heart of the estate is the castle. Built in the late 10th century, the castle was made in the romanesque fashion of the time, with thick walls of near-white limestone and high steeples. No one except the estate manager knows how many rooms are within those walls, but the castle once meant to host hundreds is now home to one Lady Kylara De Fae and her servants. For now.
