Free Style A for Altair Caelum was born the oldest of three children and while he was always trying to perfect he also tried to look out for his siblings, but it didn't turn out that way. When was two he got a baby sister named Altair and he adored her, he wanted to show her everything. He read to her even though he didn't understand most of the words and he shared all his toys. Eventually he realized they were too different as he grew in she grew out and the only thing they seemed to have in common in their like of the same sex. He found it easier to tell her about him liking boys and girl than breaking his mother's heart and telling her. Even though there was still a chance his mother would get grandchildren fifty-fifty wasn't as reassuring as one hundred percent. He always admired how she was able to be herself and not care about what their mother thought and if she didn't she show it she was still herself. He himself was stuck trying to be the perfect son and the perfect everything. Maybe if he seemed perfect no on would really notice all his flaws. B for books His favorite thing about books was that they were predictable, there was only a surprising ending because you let it surprise you. He learned that books were the same and different, good and bad all at the same time and just like people. Even though he knew that he couldn't learn everything from books. C is for Cookies. Before he and Altair were both to old to fit under the blanket of his bed and watch TV, he would steal the cookie jar and some apple juice and watch all the movies they could in a night. Even though Altair was a cover hug and he woke up cold he would get rid of the evidence before their mom came in turned off the TV. It was only natural that Rigel join them when he was old enough and stole the brownies too. D is for Distance Even though he tried Caelum could do nothing about the distance that seemed to separate them as they got older. Even he was too tall to fit under his old blanket and the bed that used to house Saturday morning cartoons and the three siblings sprawled over it could barely fit Rigel anymore. E is for Energy Both his siblings were filled with so much energy that as he got older all Caelum wanted to do was harness it and use it to power his flashlight for when the storm knocked out the power. Pretty soon he got to slow to keep up with both of them so he settled for a visit or two with then hurricane that is Altair and tornado that is Rigel blew through his town...commonly known as his bedroom. F is for Father His father was a fair man and he always tried to hold his children to the same standard but as Caelum meet each standard with pride and ease his father raised it. Pretty soon he was only holding on by a hand and it seemed to steadily rise. Disappointment wasn't something a man like Castor would ever expect for as understanding as he was he was also determined and stubborn....Caelum thinks that's where Altair get is from. G is for Girls For all the girls that he could've talked to or didn't talk to it was because he found them boring. He got tired with same old routine and girls that seemed to be more shallow than his old kiddie pool from when he was four Altair was two. H is for Hope As in he hoped he would find that one person that showed him that not all girls and boys were shallow. That he could find someone to love and be loved in return without having to settle for the status quo of being the closet or talking about the latest fashion magazine. Caked on make-up and being worried about the material things when all he wanted was simple and quiet. I is for Intelligence His mother says she gets it from him and his father doesn't dare disagree, sometimes Caelum believes that is how their marriage survived after all the year that have gone by. He studies hard and he figures that's what makes him smart. J is for Jelly Jelly beans and gummy worms are his favorite candy, his whole truck is probably half filled with candy rather than clothes but he never tells his mother because she thinks he packs the right way. he's long since discovered a way to hide the amount of candy he smuggles into Hogwarts from his mind. He might teach Rigel one day if he learns to ask. K is for Kissing He had first kiss in second year because he decided to play spin the bottle in a empty classroom in an attempt to be cool. The first time he kissed a boy was the summer before fifth year and he avoided his friend for almost the whole summer only to find out by the time he came around to talking to his friend it was already to late. They haven't talked since that summer and Caelum figures that's for the best. L is for Love Love isn't something that Caelum believes in, he believes in science and chemicals, he believes that brain processes things and sexual attraction is a lot stronger than people would thing. Then again he's never meet someone that made his heart pound and palms sweat. Not since that summer before fifth year. M is for Maybe Maybe things would be better in the morning, maybe he'll get answer wrong on the test but he tries not to think of the one days. The maybe one days will kill him just as much as the past. Maybe only living in the present is being blindside but maybe living for the future is worse. After all how can you even think about the future when you don't understand the present and have yet to accept the past? N is for Noel That summer was like a dream and he couldn't help but think about the blue eyes that seemed to light up when he laughed and the dark hair that seemed to contrast to his bubbly personality. He had always known that Noel liked boys, but he had only known him for a year and the boy was older than Caelum. That kiss sent shivers down his spine and made him forget he needed air but he ran. By the time he came too Noel was to hurt from the silence and had his arm around someone else. He still cant forget the how he actually went outside and played for Noel. The way they held hands even though he knew that boys shouldn't. If only he could be as sure then as he was now and he would've never Lost Noel. O is for Occupation He wants to be a curse break at Gringotts, to have a job that's both destructive and useful, he wants to study runes and write books but most of all he wants his job to be something more of a hobby. It wont seem like work because he enjoys it so much. P is for Parents Because his mom just couldn't go under M she had to go under Parents because she's his everything. Doctor, lawyer, therapist, cook, pillow, shoulder to cry on and voice of reason. Even though he knows she isn't always right he can't stop himself from going to her for advice. He still hasn't told him her he was Bi-sexual. It kills him that Altair is the only one he can trust with his secrets. Q is for Quit If there was a bad habit that he ever needed to get rid up it would be one night stands. Whether he's afraid of commitment or maybe he just wants to have fun. It only leaves him feeling worse in the morning but he never learns. Whether it's a quick snog or friends with benefits it still kills him inside a bit mostly because he wants a relationship but he just doesn't know where to start. R is for Rigel His youngest siblings and probably his biggest worry, he isn't sure exactly how Rigel will turn out considering he could either be worse than Altair, better than him or somewhere in the middle Caelum figures he's screwed either way. S is for Sanity and Secrets Caelum is sure that being everything his parents want him to be is going to slowly drive him insane and keeping secret can only lead to everyone getting hurt. Maybe he's just still unsure of what the future will bring but he knows that secrets are thing everyone has and his parents don’t have to know everything that goes on in his life any more. T is for the Trace He can finally do magical outside of school and he can't wait to move out. Once he finishes school he's going to focus on being who he wants to be and not who everyone wants him to be. Perhaps with him out the house Altair and Rigel wont have that many problems with pressure. He could always ignore his mothers calls and move to a different country, then Altair might look like a saint compared to him. U is for understanding. Caelum can be understanding at times and unforgiving at others but it all depends on the situation. He's the type of person that needs all the facts and the situation before he can decided who was right and who was wrong. Perhaps that person really didn't meant to hurt him and maybe just maybe he's okay with his sister's new found interest in a Gryffindor boy. V is for Victory After years of studying and hard work he finally made it to head boy and he knows both his parents are proud. He can't wait for things to play out and the fact he can brag about being head boy, after all he has to set an example for the students. Then again he doesn't yet realize that this is just more pressure added on to the pile. W is for Wednesdays Which is least favorite day because it's the day before Thursday which is the middle week and he's always exhausted by Wednesday night from all the studying and he wants to do is sleep and party. However he isn't the wild one Altair is and he just has to tell himself that he can begin his life of clubs and hot guys at clubs when he graduates. He tells himself that Hot girls and bikini's on the beach are only another ten or so months away. X is for... X happens to be a very useless letter in the Caelum alphabet most because X is probably the closet he'll ever get to mention all the exes he has piled up over the years breaking his heart more than he could ever break theirs. Even though they don't quite see it that that way. Then again everyone feels differently and he assumes that having someone stop caring for you simply because they can't find it in themselves to do so anymore has to hurt more than anything. Y is for Yogurt...the frozen kind. He saw Noel at and yogurt stand, he was trying to take Rigel to see a movie and he would recognize that accent anywhere. The way he puts emphasis on certain words and the way others seemed to roll of his tongue smoothly. He quickly ushers Rigel into the cinema and wonders if he was stopped and if he was Noel didn't say anything. Z is for Zig Zag Everything seems to cross path until he can find a distinct moment in time when everything began to go wrong. That moment time is always the moment he actually understood the concept of time. Once he realized that no matter what he couldn't change the past and that he was doomed to live with his mistakes. It might've also been around the same time that he also learned that some mistakes were ones you couldn't fix. Let's us all just be friend, And together we can start a new trend. |
