Benjamin --- Worrall
Little Brother. Open House. Nolan Gould. 13
Benjamin is about two and a half years younger than Ellie, which puts his birthday between July and August which means that Benjamin is currently in his third year at Hogwarts. Life for the Worrall kids hasn't been what one would classify as easy. Benjamin grew up thinking his sister was a schizophrenic of course it was later reviled that Ellie wasn't suffering from schizophrenia she just happened to be a witch who had the seers gift. Life before learning of the magical heritage wasn't easy. Ellie wasn't exactly the sort of sister you went around bragging about having, people thought she was strange and that she was little more than a basket case. So Benjamin and Joshua started distancing themselves from Ellie as they got older and entered into primary school for fear that they would suffer the same treatment of isolation and torment as their older sister - no doubt this fear was also due to their own small outbursts of magic they both suffered. After all, who wants to be different?
Six months before Ellie turned eleven, when Benjamin was eight, their father walked out on their family unable to handle the emotional stress that came with raising a child as disturbed as Ellie. Of course not even a year later the truth came to light that Ellie wasn't all that strange, she was just a witch. With a squib for a mother the children were brought up as if they were muggles, taught to fear the signs that proved they were much more.
While Ellie was of little help to her brothers in the muggle world she found she adapted to life in the magical world quickly and played a big part in helping her little brothers adjust to their new lives in the walls of Hogwarts. So where does that leave them now? Well Ellie is still a little off, after years of isolation she is far from being normal. She is trying hard to be a big sister that her brothers can be proud of but sometimes Ellie just tries too hard.
So, the rest is up to you really. I'd love to see these two mend their strained relationship because Ellie loves both her brothers dearly and just wants to be a part of their lives so badly. But Ellie still has a lot of problems, maybe that is easier for them to understand now, but its hard to move past something that you have thought for years. Ellie's Application is pretty important to read because there is a lot of information about their family history and Ellie's life. (Apollo Borden and Cassandra Borden are actually cousins to the Worrall's but since their mother Margot was disowned the connection is unknown as of right now)
Make him and I am going to love you forever!
