FULL NAME Katashi Koizume AGE & BIRTHDAY twenty-seven born on 31st-MAY-1997 OCCUPATION Hino Corporation Assassin/ Martial Art Trainer BLOOD STATUS Pureblood - Squib FACE CLAIM Takeru Satoh WAND TYPE Doesn't has one. PATRONUS N/A PETS N/A ABILITIES/ SPECIES None magical; Squib Tell me who you are, I'm sure you're some kind of superstar. Free Style 31st May 1997, the day you're born, the weather has just turned warm for summer, sweet scene of cherry thick in the air. Your parents welcomed your arrival with joy, their happy laughter filled the room where you are born. You're the first of the Koizume heir, you're their lovely baby boy, you were showered with love and care and have the whole household's attention on yourself. They call you a pretty little thing, with a pair of beautiful almond shaped eyes, a delicate little nose, and that pair of curvaceous lips which looking like an art creation. You took after your mother, wisp of dark brown colored hair covered the top of your head, your skin creamy and fair, flawless, everything of you are like a copy of her apart from the shape of your eyebrow, which you must've inherited from your father, adding hint of fierceness to that pretty face which your father approved of. You've shown yourself to be athletic since young, started crawling at four months old and walking at six months old. You were also shown to be extremely determined too that even after you've fell, you just climb back up and keep trying, almost like you've not known pain at all. At nine months old you've spoken your first word, you called your mom "Ka ka" and it was closely follow by the next word calling your father "Chi Chi". Words soon string into sentence for you, and you speak. Your parents are both surprise and joyful to have such a bright child, they brag about you in front of their families and friends. You are a prodigy. You grown up knowing luxurious, the Koizume is a wealthy family, well-respected in the wizarding world for being one of the 12 most powerful pureblood families. You have never lack of anything in life, you're given the best clothes and the best food, your needs were attended as well as your wants. You're taught to view yourself a respectable young gentleman, proud because you're carrying an important name and because you're the only heir to the Koizume line. Some might have an impression that you're a brat, you probably are too at times, demanding and proud, you're taught that way. You were taught to reach out and take something you want, because that's the only way you can have it. Nothing is freely given, you understand that sentence at a the young age of 3. Not long after your fourth birthday came the time when you have to share your spotlight with someone, your little brother joined the world with his loud cries, and for the first time in your life you're not the most important anymore, your wants and needs are still attended to, but they are not the first priority. It's OK, you remembered telling yourself, he's just that tiny little thing and you're still the better one among the two of you, smarter, stronger, better. He would not stand a chance comparing to you, he didn't learn to walk and talk as fast as you did, you are the better Koizume, you are your parents favorite. And that stays true until you reach the age of ten. At the age of ten, you're perfect at about everything. You score top marks at theoretical test, you know your potion herbs and magical plants and beasts. You're exceptionally athletic, you shown more than startling promises at martial art that your teacher had to bump you up to an advance classes by the age of six. You're a little charmer, you know to work your way through people to get things you want, and you've grown up to be pretty like your delicate features has suggested when you were younger. You're practically everyone's favorite at every fields, however there is one thing still hasn't come your way came to your brother first: he shown signs of magic at the age of seven, shattering the whole row of flower pots in the garden during one of his tantrum. He always a worse temper than you, your father prefer you because you've always been a more obedient kid. But it changed after that day, he gotten more attention after that day. It should not be a competition, you are brothers, you should love one another and help each other out. A part of you understand that, but you couldn't help the bitterness spreading out inside your chest. You are the one your parents love first, you are the one who's here first, so why should you sharing what's belong to you with him? You tried your best biting back on those bitter feeling, reminding yourself that you should love him, you can't love him. He is your competitor, he is your enemy. Later of the same year, joining your family another baby, a girl this time and she has once again taken away all the spotlight (that should be) on yourself. You hated it but you dare not to show your displease, as a ten years old you're expected to love your sister like a big brother should, as a ten years old you're expected to look after your brother when your parents are busy taking care of your baby sister. And you did as expected. Your luck has completely ran out on the day you turn eleven. That day you raised very early in the morning to train as usual, at the same time your heart was racing excitedly, waiting for the arrival of pigeon post bringing your acceptance letter from Mahoutokoro. Your wait was incredibly long, you never get your letter. "It's OK, maybe there is a little delay," your mother told you in attempt to make you feel better. But you know something is wrong, you felt it in your guts, you saw it in your father's dark eyes and your brother's pleased smirk. You're not gifted the way they are, you're not magical like them. You are a squib, a family's abomination, a shame your father couldn't wait to get rid of. Days passed stringing into week, and then months. One month, two months, three months, four months... it was apparent that your letter will not come, you're not accepted into Mahoutokoro, you're not a wizard like the rest of your family is. Your father would no longer pay you any attention, secret meetings were held, discussing ways to disposed of you. Who would know that your savior comes in the form of your father's best friend, Hideyoshi was twenty-three years old then, young and ambitious, looking for a way to expand his businesses in the foreign land of United Kingdom, he needed a bodyguard, he caught news of a prodigy fighter among the house of Koizume. He came to visit the family, proposed his offer to the father who took very little convincing to pass his older son to the man. "Are you abandoning me?" you asked that day, when your father told you to pack up and go with that man, your heart turned cold when you realized just how little you're worth to your father: like a garbage to be disposed of once he's found flaws in you. Your little brother was doing his best to hide his smile, but your sharp eyes caught it, you wanted nothing more than to rip that smile off his face. And you did, you flew a pocket knife at him, it left a bloody trail across his right eyebrow, narrowly miss blinding the younger kid. You just shook your hair back, head held high giving your father the fiercest glare in reply to his booming voice telling you off, your teeth gritting as you let our your last words to him in a cold calm voice. "From this moment on, you're no longer my father, and you have no rights to tell me what to do." You walked out, disowning your own family before they have the chance to say the words to disown you. Perhaps you're lying to yourself, no one can actually cut off all threads linking them to their family. You still hurt thinking back of the bits and pieces of what your family did to you. You still miss home, you miss the sight of cherry blossom in spring and the rich scent of cherries ripping in summer. You still miss your mother who has always been lovely; your nanny and your teachers. You've allowed yourself to cry over the fact that you've been abandoned by the end of your first week living in the foreign land, after which you would never let yourself be weak ever again, shifting your focus into your lessons and training, striking to be the best as you always do. You were given a chance to study, not in the magic school, Hideyoshi hired a tutor home to teach you Kanji, English, swimming, archery, and of course swordsmanship (which he taught you by himself). You were given a room in the main house, clean clothes to wear, warm food to eat. You soon got used to life in London, even learn to speak English fluently like a local. You got to know some of the staffs there, many of them kind and welcoming considering the business Hideyoshi runs. Home in his Hino Estate has always been a safe heaven, and supposedly these staffs tending to the house hasn't much knowledge of where Hideyoshi's money comes from, it isn't a matter they should know. You hope you're as lucky as they are, you longed for their simple lives which you're never blessed with, their simple lives which you quickly grown protective of. Although you have no access to real magic, you quickly learn to harvest magic in your environment. You know herbs that can heal or kill, creatures parts and venom that can aid you in your daily life, you are able to use enchanted items - invisibility cloak, shield robe, enchanted katana that inflict incurable wounds (though you have your reasons for disliking the last item). You're quick at learning, quickly mastering Yagyu Shinkage-ryu and Ono-ha Itto-ryu in short two years. Your rage towards your family helped you improved well, you often channel your hatred into your fighting make you come out a strong opponent. Your speed and quick reflexes are your deadliest skills, you're almost an unstoppable force when you hold a katana. At the age of 15, Hideyoshi given you the first mission of your life. That first life you've taken, first drop of blood tainted your hand, the first of many men you kill. He is a traitor, a spy planted amidst the organization to gather information. You managed to cornered him, the two of you fought hard with the clear moon witnessing from above. The long wound he managed to cut on your left forearm stay as a white scar reminder for the rest of your life, marking your first kill; in return you made a clean wound across his neck marked the end of his life. At the age of 15, barely an adult, you've took a man's life. And it didn't stop there. Life after life you've taken, you became the shadow lurking by Hideyoshi side, you make him an intimidating man by being the assassin who take out anyone in his way. At the age of seventeen you've already gather dozen of death souls underneath your katana. The blood tainted your hand you never stop seeing, you're not a good man, can never be a good man. A part of you are mad at yourself for your actions, you silence that voice in your mind by convincing yourself that you're acting for a great cause, blinding yourself from seeing what's right. The rare moments still hit you when you're least expecting it, that's how you learned to drink, numbing your senses with alcohol. That's how you got to know her, when you're half drunk lying there in the rain, she was really young, just a kid then, 4 years old? 5 years old? You're sure she couldn't be older than 7. What an innocent age, you even miss your innocent age when you're still picking cherry at your back garden. She is the daughter of the housemaid, Nadeshiko Ai, the name of a mountain flower symbolizing the epitome of pure, feminine beauty, it is also named "fringed pink" in English. It fits her, that innocent youthful face which could spread into such beautiful smile, that was the first thing you noticed when you woke up the next morning. Even part of your head was exploding right then, you saw her smile, and you felt part of the weight lifted from your shoulder. You took time out to spend with her, watching her draw, watching her help her mother out with some simple house works. You like how her innocent smile is like a fresh air in the spring, you like to listen to her talking about things happened at home when you're not around. You often thought that if you get a chance to see your little sister grow up, she'll probably be like Nadeshiko, she should be as lovely and innocent and this girl in front of you. Slowly but surely you've grown protective of her, you wanted to be like a big brother to her, protect her from harm and all ugliness in this world which you've seen when you're still far too young. The years you spend in the Hino Estate passing by in a more bearable manner, it doesn't make you less of a monster for taking lives from innocent men, at least they are all in the similar trade as Hideyoshi is which doesn't make them any better men than the one you're working for, they died for a cause, you are actually doing the world a favor killing them. Or are you? Does killing in the name of justice makes you a better man? Did that make the lives you've taken less of a life? Guilt kept at bay, at times you wonder if it's better if you just turn off your guilty conscience, regardless if you like the job you're doing, you'll have to complete it. Hideyoshi took you in when no one else wanted you, a part of you thought that you owed him. He isn't a good man, neither your father. At the age of 20 you caught news that the Koizume moved to London, while you insisted that you're not spying on them, you're merely curious what they are doing in this foreign land, you went to their resident that one evening. You've never thought you might be stumbling on something bigger than you thought. Crouching on the rooftop, you were watching your mother enjoying her evening tea in the garden, when the familiar voice came into your ears from behind. You've overheard the conversation, your brother and your father discussing about stealing the Precious Stones from another of the 12 families. You knew about the Precious Stones because your father thought you should be his successor as one of the Secret Keeper in the Circle, you've shone so bright that it has to be you - until your lack of magic became a fact and put a dent in his plan. You were his plan to stealing these stones. Five Precious Stones of magic, found in 5 sacred point in Japan, North, East, South, West and Center. One who held all five of them in his hands would have equal power as a God's, the ability to control life and death, the power to create and destroy the world, a power shouldn't be falling to anyone's hand. It's out of impulse you made your decision, masking yourself with the handkerchief you brought with you, you waited and observe until it was late into the night and all in your family went to bed. You made your way to the Library, knowing instinctively that's where your father would hide the stones. how many has he taken now? How many more till he reach his evil goal? You picked the lock easily, years had trained you well. It didn't took you too long to find what you're looking for, in an antique chest your father has always warned you to stay away sat the Firestone, the Windstone and the Earthstone, shinning bright under pale moonlight. You reached out a hand to touch them, warm to touch, you felt their power buzzing underneath your fingertips, it makes you catches your breath. That moment the door burst open and walked into the room your father, his eyes fierce and focused and readied to kill. You have just that moment to react to his strike, clash of metal against metal loud in the night. You managed to snatched up two of the three stones out of the chest before you're forced to flee the room. The fight went strong, be it for years of training or his determination your father seems to have an upper hand, he shot a spell at you hitting on your left arm, you're gritted your teeth, made a blowing move and back away, attempted to escape into the night - easier said than done. A spell was put in place stopping you from leaving. The fight went on, and regardless what prompted you to, like an instinct, like a force of power prompted you to, you reached into your pocket and flung out one of the gem stone which felt warm in your hand. The stone leaving streak of fire in the air as it goes, blinding orange flame with such intensity it felt warm to your skin, it hit your father who has temporary stunned at the turn of events, lighting his right sleeve on fire before the Firestone landed onto the nearby building. You took the moment to run, the spell keeping you within the perimeter was broken as your father was distracted by the fire burning up himself. The last thing you could remember of the place was the warm at your back, and the panicking cries of your mother when she caught sight of the sea of fire quickly consuming the Koizume's new home. The Earthstone, you held it on your hand and examine it under the sunlight as soon as your got to your sanctuary: the Brontë Waterfall situated just far enough from the Hino Estate, but near enough to travel to that doesn't make it a hassle. You're no expert in jewel, but you could tell that it is a very fine stone, more than that, it is a magical stone. Event happened back on that night you took it away from your own family still puzzled you, you're sure you have no magic in you, even when you hold in your hand a wand, you wave it, you've uttered spells from your mother's little spell book, nothing happened. Perhaps these gem stones is like one of those many things which has magic on their own. It was protected for a reason. You've used the fire, it means you can use this too. Or you think you can. Earth magic is certainly less easy to manage compare to fire, the need of unlimited patience and constant trials and errors, it doesn't come with a manual. It was weeks before you found out the little things it could do for you, like speeding up plants growth, affecting anything on the land you walk on, shaping paths, shaping obstacles, the power of earth is the powerful one. You kept it hidden from the Hideyoshi, you kept it hidden from him even until now. You kept it hidden from the boy who came to learn from you, that young kid named Takeshi Hino, one you thought was too old to even master the arts you're about to teach, his determination was able to put him up to be on par with your best student. Such spirit, the rage in his eyes as he fought, reminding you of yourself when you were thrown out, unwanted. And just for that, you gives him the harshest lessons, hits him the hardest and gives him the most challenging tasks to complete. Such raging soul can be shaped into a steel one, like yours already is. Age 25 was a little strange one, for you to be confessed to by no other than Nadeshiko, that young girl told you to wait for her, though you know it isn't right, there was no deny the surge of warmness went into your heart got it beating for the first time since so many years ago. But you told her the publicly appropriate answer, you told her you're too old for her. But perhaps the reasons you should give her is more than that, it has something to do with what you sold your soul out for in exchange to the life you get to live. You're too broken to deserve an angel like her, but you longed for the angel's light, you longed for redemption. Age 27 and life for you hasn't change much, Hideyoshi still acting like he has the world under his feet, and you still takes lives with your knives and acting like everything are alright during the day. The Earthstone is still in your possession, you've somehow grown dependant on having its magic to aid you through your daily lives. You, Hino Katashi might not be a good man, will never be, but a small part of you still want to be good; you still wish to do good, till this day. Let's us all just be friend, And together we can start a new trend. ALIAS: Paige AGE: 24 DISCOVERY: I made this place CHARACTERS: It's long... NOTES: <33 All the love in the world~ made by paige |
