Free Style Family: Nadeshiko Minami was born from a witch mother who married a muggle doctor. She has a beautiful but stubborn mother Misaki Yoshino and kindhearted father Natsuki Minami who dedicated his life to help people in needed. Her father died in his voluntary mission overseas while she was just 2 years old. After Natsuki’s death, Misaki had to struggle alone to raise Nadeshiko. They had no family in Japan and everyday was getting harder for Misaki to get a proper job. With the recommendation from one of her friend, Misaki took the 5 years old Nadeshiko to move to London. They arrived in a big mansion where the Hino family lives. The Hino is no different from yakuza in Japan, but Misaki didn’t care about it as long as they paid her well and Nadeshiko has a good place to grow up. And since that day, Misaki works as the maid at the Hino estate. A young Nadeshiko, despite of losing her father so early she lives in optimistic attitude. Though she maybe still too young to understand, but she knew her mother was the only one she has. She was hardly nagging to her mother. A little pain, she endured it. She didn’t cry in front of her mother. At the age 7, Nadeshiko already learned all about the Hino Estate and she often helped her mother in the estate though just on small things. Watching how her mother lives, Nadeshiko wants to become a strong person and doesn’t want to give up on hardship. She has a dream of perfect life just like in the fairy tale, seems impossible but she is an optimistic person. Maybe the perfect life will be impossible but there’s always way to build a happy life. Friends: It was her 8th birthday when her mother told her what a special existence she is. Nadeshiko stunned by the first glance of magical thing her mother showed her. After that day, her mother taught her the things related to magic. At the age of 11, she was sent to Hogwarts. Leaving her mother alone was a hard decision for Nadeshiko. But she has to learn, to create a dream and fulfill it. In Gryffindor, she made some friends. But they are just friends for her. Though she is all cheerful and kind, Nadeshiko is not an open person. She doesn’t talk much about herself. She likes to hear people instead. But then she met Ryo Teramoto. He has a good and warm personality. He is 2 years older senior. Ryo is kind to anyone. He can make people comfortable around him. And he can make people follow him. That’s why he can make a good prefect. Talking to Ryo feels like talking to a brother. He will hear everything she says. Nadeshiko can nag at him or telling him if something bothering her at school. Ryo doesn’t lecture her, but he gives opinion from different point of view. Sometimes he also helps her in her study. Her friends often tease her about their relationship. She admits that Ryo is a handsome and good person, but she looks at him as brother not a boyfriend type. Love: For a 14 years old girl, Nadeshiko surely is too young to understand love. That’s why when she feels something so complicated as love, she doesn’t really know how to deal with it. The first time she met him was the day she arrived at Hino Estate. She won’t forget the handsome boy who kindly smiled at her and the first person who talked to her. They met at the back garden when Nadeshiko actually lost. Though she was scared and panic, but she remained calm until that boy found her. He took her hand and returned her to her mother. His name is Katashi Hino. After that day, they always meet at the back garden. He would accompany her to play, teaching her to read or count and reading a story for her. When it was time to return, he would piggyback her home. Sometimes with Nadeshiko, Katashi also help Misaki on her works. She noticed that he didn’t talk much with the other people. When he is quiet, he has that scary look on him. But he always smiles to her though the smile doesn’t reach his eyes. Those pretty big eyes are cold and sad. As she grows into a young lady, calling him nii-chan doesn’t seem right anymore. Following him around for years make her growing so much affection towards him. She thought it was because he is brother to her. But her affection to Katashi and her best friend Ryo are so different. Ryo always gives that comfortable feeling. Talk with Ryo makes her calm. But when she is with Katashi, she feels weird. Her heart will start pounding and she can’t talk while looking at him in the eyes. Whenever he smiles at her and not to anyone, she feels special. When she started to study at Hogwarts, it’s the first time she missed him so badly. She always wonders how he feels about her. If he ever thinks about her the way she is or has he ever missed her too. But whenever she tried to find the answer in his eyes, she couldn’t find anything but an empty space. His smile is always same. The way he treats her doesn’t change. Then she realizes it in his eyes, she is still that 5 years old girl who lost. And there is Takeshi Hino. Her relationship with this boy is more complicated. She can't tell if he is a friend or enemy or love interest. Takeshi is a distance person, but he always has that loneliness in his eyes. She spends her time with him at the Hino estate garden, talking about flowers and anything. At school, they are almost like a stranger. Takeshi always surrounded by the girls. Once in a while they meet in the same class, Takeshi wouldn't care to just greet her. It's not like she is jealous or anything. Though he doesn't mind being chased by the girls, he never really let anyone close to him. She always wonders what makes him a person he is now. The more she tries to get closer to him, more distance he becomes. Nadeshiko thought she maybe unlucky in love or perhaps she is just unlucky with the Hinos. Dream: Nadeshiko stands out in art. She loves to draw. The fairy tale books she read in her childhood inspires her to draw a lot pretty gowns. Her favorite lesson is potion. She uses her skill in potion class to make her own experiment. But not much people know her real dream is to become a healer. Just like her father who was a muggle doctor, Nadeshiko has passion to help another people. Maybe now she is too young to decide what she really wants, but optimistic and tough young lady Nadeshiko will learn a lot of things to become a mature person who finally can decide her future and walk through the path to her dream confidently.
