BLENKINSOP FARM
open former houses. open fcs. open bloods.
This is a never ending request for people who work on the Blenkinsop Farm. This is not your every day little plot of land that you just like to call a farm farm this is lots of open land with lots of animals and lots of work.
The main trade of the farm is Hipoogriffs, but there are other animals around, sheep, goats, horses, some cows, a dog or two, and the random barn cats. There are also fields that have to be tended and house (along with smaller outlaying houses for the workers) that have to be maintained to support those who are live and work there.
This is a very family oriented farm that has been worked by the Blenkinsops for generations. But with the growth of the farm it was necessary to bring in more workers. Except those who work on the farm are not just another employee, they are like family. The Blenkinsop will take anyone who is willing to work. There are smaller houses on the outskirts of the farm for those who need a place to stay, mostly the temporary workers that are earning their keep.
Anyways, it'd be great to have some members of the farm 'family' only requirements are be respectful and do your part. Characters can be new or already exist as there are many roles to fill on the farm. (extra love will be given for GoT face claims, just saying, but in no way a requirement).
roles
5 farm hands - the farm hand will take on many roles of the farm, doing what is needed to make sure the day runs smoothly
3 hippogriff handlers - these are the people who work mainly with the hippogriffs, they help oversee the breeding, training, and over all care of the creatures
3 house helpers - these are the people who are going to help make sure the inner workings of the farm run smoothly, they are the ones who help make sure everyone on the farm is fed and cared for, caring for this small army is no easy task after all.
1 site healer + 2 assistant healers - this is one of the more important jobs on the farm, while everyone does their best to be careful accidents happen and animals of any kind can be unpredictable its likely any on site healer has had experience working in creature-induced injuries, or they work between st. mungo's and the farm.
temporary help - this can be just about anyone. the farm has always had an open door to travelers who are willing to earn their keep. there is a a bit of a reputation with the farm for being some what of a safe house, or just a safe place. so be it someone trying to find their place in life or someone who just needs a roof over their head for a few weeks, the farm is open so long as you are willing to do your part.
