Look here, what Do you see? Are You Looking Forward to Get Tangle Up in Me? FULL NAME Xander Shayne Moon AGE & BIRTHDAY Twenty-Five born August 11, 1999 OCCUPATION Hufflepuff Alum; Broommaker, previous Kenmare Kestrels chaser BLOOD STATUS Tainted, born halfblood FACE CLAIM Eddie Redmayne WAND TYPE 8 ½", Fairy Hair and Unicorn Hair, Black Limba PATRONUS Unable to produce a patronus. PETS Sampson, a year old male Old English Sheepdog. The closest thing that he has to family at the moment. ABILITIES/ SPECIES Werewolf; Xander was bitten from an attack from his elder sister Aria. Before he'd been changed he'd wanted to try and fix his sister. Bring Aria home and make his family as whole as it could get with their parents gone. He still doesn't know if she had done it on purpose or if he had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. When he'd arrived where Aria had been staying, maybe it was the surprise of him being there. Some of the people she had been working with, he doesn't really remember it but he'd seen his sister only a moment before someone had taken him out. He'd tried to beg her to come back home, repair the rift before he was taken away. Next thing he knew he woke up very sick. This landed him in the hospital for a couple days, this was when he figured out what he was. Tell me who you are, I'm sure you're some kind of superstar. Free Style Born second of three, Xander was a good child, sweet and innocent. When doing pretty much anything his mind was always on what he could do for others. The youngest of the Moon children definitely didn't spend much time figuring out things for himself. Two years younger than Aria and three elder than Nyx, he liked to always think that he'd been close to his siblings. Their parents were smart, they were each a great witch and wizard in their own respects. Xander had always looked up to them. They would have the expectations of how their children would be great. High expectations that put pressure upon their children. Smiles were always on his face, there wasn't anything that could make him angry, nothing to make him yell unless it was of joy. He was a good kid, a happy child. Those days were good days. Aria had left for Hogwarts two years prior to the time when Xander's own time to leave. This was the first time that Xander had ever been to King's Cross, and especially onto Platform 9 ¾. It was so amazing, the day he stood there with his eyes upon the scarlet red engine that lead the Hogwarts Express. He took it all in, the bustling through the platform all the families saying goodbye to the children leaving off to school. It was only a matter of time and he'd be off to Hogwarts himself. The time came fast and soon he was boarding on to the train to Hogwarts. He found a compartment with Aria and her friends but kept quiet most of the ride. They would be split at the Hogwarts station when the first years would cross the Black Lake. He sat in the boat full of other first years, climbed the staircase with them and made it to the sorting hat. He'd spoken to some first years but hadn't really made any friends. The sorting hat had kind of frightened him, he'd be chosen for one of four houses. But what if he didn't belong? Would they just send him back home? Did that really happen? Xander had waited for his name to be called and then took his seat upon the stool when the hat sat upon his head. It didn't take much time before the hat called the house of the badger. Hufflepuff! The long table of those donning black and yellow robes stood and clapped. It was a good feeling. He wouldn't be going home any time soon. It felt great hearing the claps, a smile grew on his face so large that he may not have had anymore room. Quickly the first year had hopped of the stool and sat down with the other first years sorted into Hufflepuff. He made friends rather quickly, got one well with his housemates. He didn't see Aria too much but made sure to say hello to his sister when he had. He did well in classes Xander had always had an interest in Quidditch. What proper wizard wouldn't? Now in his third year at Hogwarts, and after practicing when he had time he had made the choice to try out for the Hufflepuff house team. He did well enough, ended with a chaser position on the house team and he was extremely happy, very proud. It was something to take one's mind off the pressure of classes in the school. Donning the Hufflepuff Quidditch robes of yellow with stripes of black, this was a wonderful time for Xander, one that made him eve happier to be a part of the Hufflepuff house, something that he uniquely had to himself. Nyx had joined him at the school in his fourth year. She had been sorted into Gryffindor. Nyx was bound to be a great witch. He made sure that she was doing well with classes when he had the free moment. This was the second year that he was on the Hufflepuff house team, and it was then he decided that he was going to try and become a professional Quidditch player. There was no giving this up for anything. Xander was in love with his hobby, the thing that he did to initially relax, now he wanted to make a career out of it. Xander had expressed this to his parents during the previous summer, he would become the best he could. Was it what they had wanted? No, but it was what he was going to do. O.W.L.s came and went. He did well enough on his classes, well enough to continue in all of his spellwork classes, but he never had the focus for potions. He was one of the few students that actually loved History of Magic and continued that up through N.E.W.T. level classes. He made sure that he had free periods during his sixth and seventh years to ensure proper practice time for Quidditch. N.E.W.T.s were much more difficult for him but he managed to pass the classes that he was taking with at least an Acceptable or higher, he wasn't going to complain. Upon graduation he had been recruited by Kenmare Kenstrels as a reserve chaser. His sister Aria had begun traveling and only stayed in contact through owls. He wrote often to her, and sent plenty of letters to Nyx as well. Less than a year after graduation he became an actual chaser for the Kenstrels. It was a good time since he'd graduated. He made friends from his team, he never thought that he'd have an interview in a newspaper. One of the most nerve wrecking days that he'd ever had was the day that he did his first interview with the Daily Prophet. The questions that he had been asked, well a lot of them were much more personal that he'd expected, then there were others more about his career. One day the letters stopped from Aria, Nyx had already graduated Hogwarts at this time. She'd been training to be an oblviator. He taken some time away from the Kenstrels, during the off season, and left to find his elder sister. They'd always been close through the years, something had to be wrong. He had worried about Aria and could only hope everything would be fine until he found her. He started from the place of her last letter. He'd found her in Johannesburg. His sister wasn't how he remembered her, she turned quite opposite of what he'd ever expected. Expectations had sent her running. She'd gone to a dark place, blood was how she got what she wanted. He'd returned home and shared the news with his family. Nyx had made the decision to perform a memory charm upon herself to forget it. Xander had never raised his voice before that day but he made sure she was aware of how stupid a decision it was for her to do it. They had a quiet funeral at home after that. They had to pretend that some things had or hadn't happened. It wasn't easy to deal with what his sister had done to herself. He returned back to playing for the Kenstrels. It was great being back on a broom. He played like he'd never play again. He loved quidditch so much. This brought happiness back into his life. This was where he was meant to be after seeing Aria. Quidditch became most of his life, when he wasn't checking on Nyx to make sure she was okay. Xander had returned back to check on Aria. This was a quiet vacation that he'd taken for himself. He visited her again, made no mention of things that had happened since his previous visit. It was the day he visited her that was the last day that Xander remembered being who he really was. This was the day that his sister had allowed a werewolf to take him away and turn him. There wasn't much memory of the attack, maybe it had been the psychological effects of pushing it as far away from him as he could at the time that it had happened, that caused him unable to remember the attack. Maybe it was the fact that he had remained mostly out of the loop for approximately a month after the attack under the full moon. Xander had awoken, or at least began to make memories the day he awoke in St. Mungo's. He did not remember anything. The shame in and of itself was a possible reason behind this. This was the last time he'd seen his parents and his younger sister. Nyx and he had gotten into a fight, harsh words had been shared. He was changed forever, and she couldn't understand it. The healers spoke of him being a werewolf. That day was more of a blur than anything else. He had stayed at St. Mungo's for another week after he awoken. They had helped him with a few things. Wolfsbane potion was one thing that he'd knew he would never personally be able to make. While he was skilled in charms, his potion making skills were not nearly even close to par. He'd have to find someone to make that for him at some point. For now he could get it at Saint Mungo's. Xander had wished himself dead upon several occasions since his first memory of change. The painful change that came month to month. He ended up completely leaving his life of playing Quidditch in fear that he could hurt someone, he could never imagine what he'd do if he caused someone else the type of pain that he himself felt. When he had free moments where he hadn't been ill around the full moon he picked up books and had begun to learn how to make brooms. It took time, but he ended up making a fairly decent living off of the brooms, enough to keep himself as happy as one could without having to worry that he would be able to afford his home. There were months when he forgot to get himself Wolfsbane, and he suffered immensely those months. Regrets hung in the memory of the young man. He lived by himself in the near middle of nowhere, kept to himself and didn't make effort to do speak to anyone except those that he did business with. Over time scars begun to show up in places upon his body. Xander Moon had become nothing more than a beast. He often felt distanced from those around him, if anyone got close enough to him... no, they couldn't, he didn't want someone to know. He was turned to something he hated. He never did handle it well. Ever since the day he awoke to the lime green robes of the healers around him, all he had was anger. Before he'd been a sweet, soft spoken young man who had been humbled by his experiences in life. Now he was closed up, felt ruined by the misgivings that he'd come to have. The things that made him happy were gone. He found himself with neither of sisters, neither parents nor friends. News was received of the death of his parents. Aria had returned, she murdered their parents. Xander did not attend their funeral. He couldn't work the courage to be there. He most definitely could not have been seen by old friends, or his sister. Life had drifted him away from his family like a river takes off with a leaf. He was who he was now and he didn't want to hurt anyone. Even if Nyx had the courage in herself to have remembered him as he was unlike how she did with the news of Aria, she would know what he'd been. She'd know what he lived with day in and day out. She'd understand why he never came home to be with her after the loss of their parents. Now as he begins to gain more control of himself, actually remembering to take the Wolfsbane potion. He spends more time out of his home. All he wants is for life to go back to normal. That was the dream wasn't it? One day, one day he would find himself as normal as he could get. Could he do that without any help from friends and loved ones? He had no idea. Could he ever rekindle with his sister? The cruelness that life dragged behind it in it's wake would only tell. Worse he could revert back and continue to take the steps closer to the beast that he was made to be, rather than the human that he'd been born. Time was a cruel witch that held a torture in every corner. Time was the only thing that could tell what would happen and unfortunately he could not travel to the future to tell himself all would be okay. Instead he tosses between the creature full of rage and the young man that humbled himself, with most days towards the former. Two paths have formed in the woods for him, which could he take? Let's us all just be friend, And together we can start a new trend. ALIAS: Jess AGE: 25 DISCOVERY: I've set up camp and planted my strong holds.
