Free Style Born to the head of the Drakos family in Northern Greece as the only girl to Adrien and Xylia Drakos. She also was an only child. After she was born about a year later Xylia had become pregnant again with a boy but had a miscarriage and after that they stopped trying. Adrien was disappointed not to have a boy but was determined to raise his little girl to be the pride an joy of his family. Women were not raised to be heads of family and Adrien knew that if he were to not have a son he would one day have to hand his title over to one of his younger brothers. But Adrien also knew that Cressida would have to be raised and married off to a proper family so she could carry on his own bloodline. A plan that would start it's works as she was a toddling toddler. Cress at the beginning was a rambunctious little child. She loved to get into as much trouble and run around in the mud and dirt like any normal child would. Her parents would allow it until they could not longer allow it. When she was only four years old she was forbidden to run and play with her cousins. She was to stay inside and become a lady. She had to learn to walk and talk properly for a girl of her standing. She was to learn lessons instead of playing games, she was to read books and be an educated young girl. If she was raised to be a proper girl Adrien would have no problem marrying her off to a good family. And as she was taking her lessons and blossoming into a young girl her father was off making plans to marry her off to a hunter family. A family who Adrien was happy to have his daughter be a part of, and a family that he was happy to have in his reach if he needed it. Adrien made plans with Angelo Panos to marry their close in age children. Luca had only been about a year older than Cressida and both families would have been happy with the deal. Adrien held a high position as the current head of the Greek Law Enforcement and could guarantee protection to Angelo for whatever was going on with the Panos family. The deal would be cemented in stone once the two started in school. But Cress turned into the girl her father wanted her to be. She was the pristine girl who began to turn her nose at her cousins asking her to play outside. But still she longed to just roll in the grass to had mud and grass stains to her nice dresses. So to fill those day dreams she burrowed her nose into books, she lived through the character's eyes to go on adventures of her own. It was hard for her to be locked inside all the time. As Cress got older the more books she read. It was a good thing that her parents would buy her whatever she wanted. She had a room full of books, able to read so much. At least it was a way to make her and her parents happy. But soon it was time for her to go off to Beauxbatons, the school was one of the best in the region. Soon she made her own way to the school and worked hard to be a student at the top of her year. She was told by her father to get to know Luca Panos during her time at school, the boy was a year ahead of her at the school and she did what he father asked of her, but she was not a fan of him. She'd met him a few times before school but she'd never gotten to know him until she started school. During her school years she worked hard to be one of the top of her year. She succeeded most of the time. She spent most of her time studying and spending time with some of the girls that she'd met and shared her dormitory with. While she portrayed a very girly girl she would have loved to gone against her parents wishes and rolled down a hill with the boys sometime, enjoy the laughter and play that some got to enjoy, or even hop on a broom and play a bit of Quidditch. That would be a dream, playing Quidditch with the boys. It was her third year at the school though she met Luca's younger brother. Luca and Dante had been fighting and she'd been there to watch. But after the fight and after the people cleared she'd taken Dante carefully to make sure he was okay. This was the first time she would have any interest in healing. This was also where she realized that she would never love Luca the way that she was going to have to when she graduated school. There was an attraction and a friendship that she hadn't known was mutual until a while later. And when she was seventeen she started to realize that there was something more to them. But in the end she also knew that he was forbidden. She was to be married to Dante's older brother, who treated her like crap about ninety percent of the time. And there'd been a few times when she'd shared her time alone with him. Never did she think it would effect her in a way it did when she was older. Soon enough she graduated and it was just an occasional seeing each other when she was spending time with Luca. It was during their time when she was nineteen and he was sixteen that they'd shared bed together and she ended up pregnant with his child. Luca and her wedding was just around the corner. Cressida watched and lived to the stress of Dante leaving to England and trying to get her to go with him. She was smarter to know not to make the Panos family mad at her, not to make her own family mad at her. And as much as she wanted to, he was also a bastard child. She had to be smart for herself and for the child that was blossoming in her belly. She stayed and smiled on her wedding day as she kissed Luca and walked into their home together that night. She made sure that Luca knew that their child was theirs. She learned privately on how to become a healer. She was to be just a housewitch and live her life comfortably under her husband. But she was skilled at healing and could help the family out as needed. Nearly nine months later Cress gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that she named Apollin Calysta Panos. A girl that was so very spoiled and looked so very much like her father, but to not allow Luca in on her own knowledge Cress told him that Apollin looked very much like her paternaal grandmother.. Cress kept a watchful eye on her daughter as much as she could. She didn't want any risk to her child because she was not Luca's. If he ever found out she was honestly scared of any possible outcome. She saw very little of the Dante that she was attracted to after he left to England. The few times that she'd seen her he was drunk and she would watch him bruised and bloody from some fight that he'd been into. It was clear that what had happened through his life really had an effect on him. She cared for him each time to make sure he would be okay but out of the eyes of her father in law or her brother in law or her husband. She did not want any wrath against her or him, each morning she would send him away without another glance. It was when she was twenty-three and her daughter four that Dante had come into their home with news that his oldest brother was dead and he'd taken a crash under Luca's hands that Dante met Apollin. The girl looked so very much like her father. And while Luca was quick to send her away Cress gathered the young child and carried her up to her room to tuck her in and not speak about what she'd seen. After Luca had made to bed she went down and moved his younger brother out of the house and made sure he was bandaged up so that he would not die. But Dante was persistent about Apollin being his and Cress had to be just as persistent into denying it. She could not be Dante's, she had to be Luca's child and he needed to understand that. Even if she told him that Apollin was his it would not have made a difference. She would not have allowed her daughter to spend time with her bastard father. She kept an even closer eye on Apollin since those days. She taught her daughter what she knew and occasionally practiced healing on the side for any of the family members who needed it. Luca was just as ruthless as his father and Cress found herself less happier with him as time went on. There were days where she'd dreamed about what her life would have been had she left with Dante, had she never come home again. Cress has taught her daughter well, kept her out of the family business and in the books. She protects her daughter from her father's wrath in any way. And more she becomes self involved delving back into books that once brought her happiness as a child. What will happen in time? Will Luca ever know about Apollin not being his? Is he smart enough to catch on? Should she get out of this family while she still has a chance? For now she has to live her life to protect herself. Let's us all just be friend, And together we can start a new trend. ALIAS: Jess AGE: 23 DISCOVERY: Paige made me CHARACTERS: 16 many others NOTES: I'm excited to give this a try. made by paige |
