Free Style Born in the year 2005, Jay Tate and his twin brother were born to parents that the identity has been unknown. In fact the two boys barely a week old were what was well known in the muggle world as dumpster babies. They were discovered crying and cold by a restaurant owner of the dumpster that they were left behind when he went to throw away the trash. What happened next was what made Jay Tate and his brother a future in the world that they were going to live in. Being born in the muggle world and becoming adopted by a wizarding family had to be rare but the boys were. Miles and Millicent Bletchley were unable to have children and adopted the two boys as their own. And the two never were to be told what had happened in their past. From the moment Jay could remember he and his brother were very close. They were brothers and they would always be just that. Toddler years the two muggle boys showed their magical powers. How Miles and Millicent ever knew that would happen? Honestly no one would ever know. They both showed off their powers at the age of three and their parents couldn't have been more happy. Growing up in the Bletchley household most things were given to them. Unlike some of the pureblood wizarding families they were not handed everything. They did not have a ton of money but they were not poor either. They were just raised as the normal every day family who happened to be purebloods. Not too much further behind their adoption came their younger sister who was also adopted. Jay and his brother were raised completely as Miles and Millicent's actual child. Jay really fell in love with flying. From the day he got his first broomstick. He was exceptionally good at Quidditch especially as a beater. He practiced as much as he could and as often as he could. Jay worked hard to do what he could and knew from that time that he was born to fly. He was born to live his life on a broomstick. When he was due to go off to Hogwarts, the fall after he turned eleven. He got so very excited to be able to go off to Hogwarts. What was even better was that his brother was going with him. They got the things they needed for their first year and then they left off on the Hogwarts Express. They went off to the school. Their parents had talked up Hogwarts and especially Slytherin house so very much. The boys knew where they wanted to be when they got to Hogwarts. And both had so much ambition inside them. Jay and his brother both got sorted into Slytherin. A house that they were proud to be a part of. It was in his first year, in his house that he became the best friend of one Nathaniel Pucey and they became brothers. Jay had never understood why Nathaniel and his brother didn't get along. In the end though Nathaniel was his brother as well. Hogwarts years seemed to fly by. In what seemed like no time he was off skipping as many classes as he could and taking only those very important ones in his NEWT years before graduating. The years prior were focused on Quidditch it had always been Quidditch from day one. He had joined the Slytherin team as a beater in his second year and fought hard to keep his position. His goal was to become a professional Quidditch player. The best part of Quidditch was that he had Nathaniel to be on the team with him. The only problem was that his best friend had gotten beaten by a five against one fight that ended up with his right hand being hexed. Jay had been so agitated that he hadn't been there to fight that fight with his friend. His friend had ended up with his hand disabled. He couldn't throw a quaffle after that. Jay planned to take it out on that group's team the next time he was on the pitch with some bludgers to the head. He was so mad about such a thing. NEWTs went well in their seventh year. He studied hard and passed what he needed. He still planned to become a professional Quidditch player and he had actually been scouted for Puddlemere United. He kept the news a little hidden from his friend who had discovered a new type of flying. Drag Racing and well he was happy with everything that his friend was doing. There was the news that Jay and his brother got when they turned seventeen. They were adopted, and they were muggleborns. Jay had no idea and when he brought it up to his friend about the news there was some getting used to for them. They had both grown up with a distance of such. They kind of were the bad boys who had found their way through. After graduation he picked up his friend's hobby of broom drag racing. This was after he had passed along the news of him being brought on as the blind side beater for Puddlemere United. Jay wanted to stay with his friend. Despite certain differences they had grown through all their years at Hogwarts he liked having a best friend. Now was focusing on his career and his side career. The other nice thing was that this gave him the opportunity to make up some spare money, though he never did as good as Nathaniel. Now is the time to live his life to its fullest.
