Freedom. It was something so many people took for granted, a number of years ago even he had wasted the freedom he didn't understand he had. Now he had the girls. Summer would come and the shiny red train would bring his sisters back to him. Now Lach loved his sisters, but he was twenty-one and had been no where ready to fill the role of sole guardian of the girls. But he couldn't have abandoned them either. So here he was, at a club after work doing shots and trying to find a way to distract himself as best he could because in no time at all it would be back to acting like the parent he wasn't ready to be.
Now being a wizard who constantly experimented with time - both for work and outside of work...carefully...most of the time - Lachlan knew that he had far more time than others, in theory. You had to be careful about meddling with time. Still he could party now and than turn himself back and round up the lads for some duels. It was how he tended to spend his weekend, drinking, partying, and than fighting - of course there were rules, so no one took it too far, but Lachlan was pushing himself to the extremes, and for what? Because he didn't ever want to waste his time again.
Ordering a scotch Lachlan decided to have a look around the club to see if he could find someone he knew, or maybe someone he could get to know. He wasn't looking for romance but he didn't exactly come here to a club to be alone either now, did he? Carefully Lachlan made his way into a more populated area of the crowd hoping someone might stand out to him - or maybe he would stand out to someone.
