Drinking with the team was the absolute best. Of course, lots of things were the absolute best - it was a in the moment sort of thing and that was how Nox rolled. So after a long day of training a few of the team headed to the local Puddlemere Pub for some drinks before they all would part for the night. Being an only child (yet one of many many cousins) Nox was always hungry for attention, he had no brothers or sister of his own to give him the attention he needed. The goofy playful attention. Of course there was one lad not even 2 years his younger who Nox knew was always good for his attention fixes.
Leo was his best friend on the team - even if he was his captain - the little brother he had always wanted but never got. Not that anyone actually blamed Nox's parents for not having another kid, he clearly had been a handful all by himself. Still Leo was always there for a good time when Nox needed it - except, something was off lately. It'd taken him a while to notice it, simply because he wasn't paying attention. But as the table buzzed with chatter Leo seemed to drift off, a lot.
Something was up and Nox was going to get to the bottom of it. Of course he was hoping it would be a quick fix because serious matters were not his thing, but Nox was determined none the less. Moving off his chair he dragged it over to where Leo sat - damn the guy was even sitting away from the action, what was going on? Setting the chair beside Leo, Nox once again hopped up and set his pint glass down loudly.
"Leo, you know that I love your mysterious broody side and all - seriously hella sexy vibe ya got going could jump right now if I had a few more in me...but we all were amazing today, you really drilled us hard. Hard Leo, so, come on - whats there to be this broody about?" He wasn't like many of the well versed Ravenclaws that came out of hogwarts, some might never guess he actually hailed from the house of knowledge seeing as his choice vocabulary tended to be so limited - you' never know he spoke over four languages.
Taking a good drink Nox prepared for some excuses - or lack of. "If you don't wanna tell me whats got you like this we could shoot some darts, something...." Nox was doing his best to make it clear to Leo he wasn't about to leave him alone, or let up on this. He might let Leo distract him a bit but he was going to get to the bottom of the problem, even if he had to force it out of the younger lad. His captain was going to cheer up and enjoy the drinks - properly. Even if Nox might have been the only one who was picking up on the gloom.
