Out of the seven billion people in this world, there's only you.
Almost a million words that I could say, but none of them will do. So many years that I have lived, but it feels like I've just begun. Out of the seven billion people, baby, you're the only one.
No matter what anybody said that day, Liam was not nervous. Of course he always seemed a bit jumpy whenever August managed to convince him that going whale watching was a good idea. He didn’t know why she loved the things so much, it wasn’t as if they were cuddly. Out of all the things for her to love it had to be the things he hated the most. He would put up with show dogs and sleepless nights if she would just forget her love of whales. Unfortunately the short Canadian was dead set on whales. It wasn’t as if he had anything against...okay he flipping hated the things and he was sure they hated him too. It all started with a trip to seaworld when he was like twelve. He wasn’t even sure why he was there, he wasn’t even all that close to the little girl but she had wanted to go so Thanksgiving break he was in Florida with his parents watching a stupid whale doing tricks.
At the moment August was getting dressed and he was trying to pretend to ignore the smug looks coming from his sister. He was not nervous or scared, no matter what either one of his family members were saying. His grandfather was off talking to blake and he wanted everything to be perfect. He stuffed his hands into his jacket pocket where the diamond ring sat, he could help but smile at the thought of what was going to happen. In Liam’s opinion they had waited entirely way too long for this and while it wouldn’t be perfect it would be something she would like….at least he thought she would like it. If not she would totally love the wedding present he got her, at least she would when she saw it. He didn’t plan on being home for a couple of weeks and he had put in a notice at work. Not that he needed to be at the office anytime soon until his rough draft was finished. He hadn’t worked on it since August came back, he just felt like she was more important.
He had gotten Nate to come along and he couldn’t help but roll his eyes at all the remarks he was sure would come. Anybody who knew him either thought he hated whales or knew he was terrified of them. It was probably the only thing he was really afraid not counting losing August, because he had already almost did and nothing compared to that. Sitting on he closed his and figured if he didn’t stop fidgeting then someone would think something was up. It was the first time he was glad he was scared of those creatures, it was a great cover for how nervous…..worried he actually was. All he kept thinking was what if she had no, what if she hated the idea or what if it was too rushed and not at least semi-perfect? Even though Hippie and Gibby had assured him they knew where the dress was and what food to make sure was there.
He had even talked to the captain of the boat to make sure everything was set. He had to admit that he had no idea how a wedding was actually supposed to be. All he knew was that in order to complete his family he needed a wife and that had always been good enough for him. His only regret was that his mother wasn’t here to roll her eyes and hit him with a spatula yelling finally. Nor would she be waiting for him when they got back from honeymoon yelling at him for such an improper wedding but smiling. He wouldn’t be able to laugh with his father about how red in the fact in his grandfather got when he found out August wasn’t pregnant.
When she finally came out the room he sighed and got up. ”So can we get this over with or what?” Even though he would be asking the one question he had been dying to ask her for so long he couldn’t stand the fact that there would be whales involved. Then again was there really any other place they could get married? He couldn’t recall how many times August had dragged him onto the boat making him cancel whatever date or plans he had. Even when he couldn’t travel by himself he had convinced his parents to take them Whale watching, not caring that they secretly laughed about how unselfish and self-centered he was when she was around.

You ought to give me wedding rings
How much difference a few months could make. The road was hardly an easy one but now...now it was her's to take - truly her's. It wasn't that August was happy about what had happened - that Liam had to do what he did but, it had to be done. It was Liam who made it possible for her to reunite with Nate even though he was still recovering himself. But most importantly Liam had ensure that she was now free to make her own choice, free to finally embrace the love she had felt for years, the love she had for him. No longer was she held back by the binds of a contract that wasn't even of her choosing. She was for the first time in her life truly free.
It had been obvious for years that Liam did not treat her how he treated other girls, in fact it was very obvious that she was some sort of exception in his life. So perhaps it shouldn't have been too much of a shock for the blonde that even with her contract dissolved Liam had his own reasons for not taking full advantage of this new gained freedom. There were many talks about her sobriety, or more lack there of. It was a struggle at first, well no it still was a struggle, but Liam had insisted it was necessary, that she needed to make these choices with a clear mind no matter how terrifying she found it to walk among everyone again.
Perhaps that was why Liam seemed to be trying to hard. He knew how hard it was for her to face the world with nothing but her own diminished confidence. Of course though each day had become a small victory, except those days when she would slip - but even then Liam had been there to catch her, to ensure her that things were going to get better and that never again would anyone take her from him. Yes, finally she was starting to feel safe and maybe even some what normal.
So when Liam had said something about whale watching it was of little surprise that the short Canadian perked up. Time after time she had talked the older boy into taking her out to see the majestic creatures. Part of her had always felt bad knowing he had such a deep set fear of them, but she couldn't help that she adored them so. When the day had finally come August had woke up early and showered Liam with even more affection than normal - after all she knew just how terrified he would be later and it was her way of trying to ease his nerves of what was to come. Except August didn't actually know what was to come. Maybe it should have been obvious, the way he had invited their closest friends to come with them, or even the way Gibby seemed to be in the most cheerful of moods, but August was obvious as all she knew was that she was going to be on a boat with her love, her brother, her best friend, and the glorious creatures that so few could understand.
August sat upon their bed while she watched Gibby hurry about the room gathering her outfit for the day. The elf was making such a fuss but August wrote it off as the creature's joy to be reunited with her again. "Not that shirt Gibby, one of Liam's - it'll look better." She said, her instructions were soft - she never liked to yell at the elf - even though she was reunited with Liam she had hardly grown tired of stealing his shirts. Of course she tried to avoid doing with when she knew Nate was coming around but today...well Nate was going to have to learn to accept she had picked Liam - it wasn't as if this was something new after all.
After taking longer than she had planned to get ready August made her way out of their room. It didn't take long for August to make her way into his arms and tangle her self around his body. Maybe they had been reunited for some time but August still was constantly feeling the need to make up for their lost time - and of course the slight need of reassurance that he was still there with her. Looking up at him August could almost swear she could feel the way she glowed with excitement. "Yes, yes! Let's go! You'll have fun this time, I just know it!" Well no, she didn't. But say something enough times and some day it might be true, right? Well At least that was her theory. Standing on tip toe August pressed a kiss to the side of his lips before giving him a proper kiss. Well...it was just an attempt to help ease his nerves, right? Well, maybe not just that.

Almost a million words that I could say, but none of them will do. So many years that I have lived, but it feels like I've just begun. Out of the seven billion people, baby, you're the only one.
Liam wrapped his arms around August as was natural when she was anywhere near him. They could be at opposite side of the room and they would still manage to find themselves in each other’s arms. He still couldn’t understand her excitement about the creatures that they would be seeing, he liked the jellyfish more. He just couldn’t find a place with jellyfish to get married at, that wouldn’t take her finding out. He sighed again, resigned to the fact that no matter what to get what he wanted he had to endure the beast that were out to get him. That and the fact that Nate was going to try and kill him eventually or at least twice on this trip. If he didn’t attempt to drive the car off road because he was sure Nate would have a way to get August and Jessica out the car.
In Liam’s defense he would’ve asked Nate but he figured that he had some unspoken approval and his best friend had saw it coming. He was pretty sure that everyone saw it coming and didn’t even think he would be actually waiting for marriage before touching August. They just didn’t understand that he needed this to be the way she wanted it to be. It would be bad if she was stuck with him when she obviously deserved more, but the fact that she actually choose him made him want to smile and try to pet a whale. Liam wouldn’t ever waste his time trying to explain to Dante how much she meant to him and he was sure that Nate understood no one would ever care about August the way Liam could. She drove him a million different kinds of crazy and he couldn’t even raise his voice at her.
“We both know, that unless I get to actually shoot a whale this time, I won’t have fun.” Liam said before returning her kiss not caring that Nate was in the same room. He was going to have to get used to it if everything went his way. Once August was ready to leave he walked over to Jessica, even though they would normally drive. It wasn’t as if it wasn’t that far of a drive but he didn’t want to wait that long. It would kill him to be in the car when they could just apparate and then yeah he didn’t want to wait the amount of time when she could be his wife sooner than later. He took Jessica’s hand figuring that August could apparate with Nate. He kissed his soon to be fiancee slash wife slash partner in crime for the rest of their lives good bye and apparated into the alley a few streets over from where they needed to be.
He waited for Nate and August to appear before reclaiming August in his arms and walking out the alley leaving both of their siblings behind. Not like they would get lost, they had walked this way many times before, Liam even visited this place to walk the familiar path, he just couldn’t get on the boat. Not because he was afraid of the whales but because it felt wrong without her with him and he would’ve broken down. He chased those thoughts away, she was back and alive and they would be getting married. That’s all he needed to focus on, the fact that the others were probably waiting for the boat already and he still had to propose before they boarded. Which for him meant that Nate had time to try and throw him between the boat and dock. He winced at the thought of such a painful death even if he wasn’t sure if it was possible...they were wizards so most things were possible.
When they got there he stuffed his hands in his pockets after making sure that everyone was there. He was surprised that Kayden and Dante had actually shown up, he was sure they would have something better to do than help him entertain August. although they could’ve just shown up to witness him being terrified and pretending not to be...badly. Even his grandfather thought it was hilarious that the only things that scared him was whales. Death, pain, poverty...growing old those things meant nothing to him. To him nothing was as unnatural as whales.

You ought to give me wedding rings
August pouted when Liam said he would have to shoot a whale to ever actually enjoy them. She wished he could understand they were the gentle giants of the sea - not some hunger crazed beast he seemed to fear them to be. Never the less her pout vanished as their lips met, much to the obvious distaste of her brother. Little time was wasted in following Liam after tugging at her brother's arm to encourage him to come along too. It was obvious that Liam had decided to forgo the planned car trip to get to the coast for the faster - and more efficient - method of travel. Appparation. After Liam popped away with Jessica, August took up Nate's arm.
"Do we really have to go Gus? Can't we just go alone - with out Liam?"
August didn't bother justifying her brother with an answer, only a roll of her eyes and a small smirk. Maybe a part of her knew there was more to this trip than she was willing to admit - or maybe it was a secret hope that lingered in the back of her mind. Nate could protest all he wanted but this time - this time it had to be all of them. Then again, had she ever ditched Liam for Nate? It was always the other way around, breaking plans with her brother to run off with his best friend. Well today wasn't going to be the day that reversed. It took only moments for them to pop into the alleyway that Liam and his sister were already in and in no time at August found herself right back at Liam's side.
How many times had he taken her to this place before? She had lost count all those years ago. Many people used the term selfish when it came to Liam - a boy who seemed to only care about himself. Yet August had always known a different side of him - but if he was so selfish than why was it that he would drop whatever it was he was doing to take her to see the creatures he feared the most in the world? Maybe it was just because he was in love with her - though she could never recall him ever actually saying this aloud, only in her dreams had he admitted such a thing - never the less August liked to think it was more than just that. Perhaps she just made him a better person, maybe she just brought out his best qualities.
Glancing up to him she didn't even bother trying to hide the smile that formed on her lips - no, she never again wanted to deny how happy she felt being beside him. It was where she belonged, where he belonged. "I can't believe that everyone wanted to join us today!" She expressed with great enthusiasm. Maybe it was the want to make up for the years worth of loss time that made sharing whale watching not seem slightly - well, wrong - after all it had, for the longest time, been one of their most intimate activities. Countless dates that could never be deemed as such because they could never be a couple. Yet here they were, surrounded by their friends, and there was nothing they had to hide. Her brown eyes looked around - yes, all their friends were there. It was odd, but it seemed right.
Yes, it was obvious this wasn't just an ordinary date out with their friends. This was something more. But August didn't know what. Not in her wildest dreams had she imagined that this would be how her dreams would come true - and yet it couldn't have been any more perfect. Carefully August wrapped her arms around Liam and stood on tip toe to press a kiss to her love's face. "Thank you, Liam" She said softly before she let herself sink back to her feet. It wasn't what she meant - no 'I love you' was more along the lines of what she had wanted to say. But there was a time and place for everything - and little did she know that that time was merely moments away.

Almost a million words that I could say, but none of them will do. So many years that I have lived, but it feels like I've just begun. Out of the seven billion people, baby, you're the only one.
Liam was sure that someone would call him out eventually, it just wasn’t natural for him to want something like this. Especially since he had gotten everyone to come and it was well known he’d rather get stabbed than look at whales. Still he couldn’t help but smile goofily at his other half’s happiness. Even though he tried to deny it for so long it was really her smile and energy that made him want to bring her to these places. That and the fact that he’d do anything for her, which in hindsight was exactly how he got into this predicament. He knew that Nate wasn’t exactly happy with the fact that he hadn’t bothered to hide the fact that he was with August. Not like they ever really went long without touching before, it was definitely the kissing that would slowly kill his best friend. It was probably the least that he could do, considering Liam was sure that he’d end up dead before the day was over.
“Yeah me either” Liam said with a smile on his face, which should’ve been a sign that something wasn’t right. He always looked at these moments as a death march, walking right into the line of fire never looking back. It didn’t matter that he was being overly dramatic all that mattered was that eventually one of those things were going to try and eat, and he’d lose a hand like Captain Hook from Peter Pan. It wasn’t a surprise that he was nervous, not only was it their first real date but he was pretty much asking her to be his forever. Not that she wasn’t already his, but he wanted to make it official. There weren’t many people that understood how important this was to him, to have a real family and do it the right way not the hunter way. Even though August knew that things in his family weren’t normally done this way, he didn’t want anybody else. He was willing to break his family’s tradition like he was willing to ruin any trust there was between him and Nate. Though he wasn’t sure how much of the later was still there considering he’d been sneaking behind his best friends back for a while.
“Don’t thank me yet, there’s still one more thing we have to do before we board the boat.” Liam said while looking towards the boat he was sure would lead him to his death. There was no need to be so dramatic right? Even if Dante would be pissed, Kayden would laugh and Nate would only try to kill him a lot...nothing he couldn’t live through. Although he couldn’t help but admit that it would be okay to die once she said yes but at least he knew that they would’ve grown old together. Of course even he knew he was being dramatic and sappy, however his mind was safe from ridicule considering he was about to get so much crap for this. He could just tell everyone was waiting for something to happen so he just decided to get on with it.
Extracting himself from August reluctantly turned to face her his back to the ocean, and the god awful boat. ”I’m not exactly the most romantic person in the world considering my idea of a perfect date is staying home with you and eating Kraft dinner and Tacos, but I’ve pretty much been obsessed with you since were kids and I know i won’t ever find someone as awesome or more beautiful. It took me way too long to realize that I was in love with you, even if I secretly knew since I was like seventeen. I don’t even want to describe how lost I was without you because I literally thought I wouldn’t make it. So even though Nate will kill me and I’ll never hear the end of this I really don’t care because I love you and couldn’t picture myself with anyone else.” Finally getting down on one knee, because he sure as hell wasn’t doing all of that from the ground he pulled out the ring he had gotten from the safe in his grandfather’s study. “Augustine Venia Clemence will you please say you’ll be wife?” Inwardly he was yelling and ranting about all the things he shouldn’t have said or should’ve said but didn’t. Even though he had went over everything in his mind a million times it all came out in jumble. He nervously rambled and probably did the whole entire thing wrong because maybe he was supposed to be on one knee the whole entire time. Instead of his pocket feeling weighed down it was now his mind that was heavy with self-doubt even though he knew that she loved him. Considering he was pretty sure this wasn’t exactly the most perfect way to ask a woman to marry you.

You ought to give me wedding rings
It was obvious. It couldn't have been anymore obvious and yet some how the short Canadian was obvivous to what was unfolding before her, that was until the end. Instead August looked upon Liam with curiosity - what else did they have to do before getting on the boat? Before she could form a question as to what he meant Liam started on a short speech. It should have been a give away as to what was to come, but August found herself too caught up in his words to even think about just what this little soliloquy was building up to.
Slowly the smile on her face grew with his words. Did he really think he wasn't all that romantic? Though perhaps she had a warped idea of what romance was as her only experiences really had been with him. But that was all she had ever needed, all she had ever wanted. She loved their stupid little dates, every last one of them - even if they had just been times where they staid at home in bed with a bowl of kraft dinner and more tacos than any two people should ever attempt to eat. Still it became hard to follow his words as she found herself caught on his confession to knowing he had been in love with her. Yes, how her smile grew all the more.
Of course August knew Liam loved her - even a blind person could see it - but the actual words had never been exchanged (well, they had she just had been in a highly drugged state of mind and had assumed it to be a dream). So to hear it from his lips, well it made all his other words seem rather unimportant. Did he mention Nate? August honestly wasn't sure, nor did she really care. She knew her brother was against their relationship (not that she could actually blame him but the fact was she loved Liam, with out him she had no life - or at least no life she wanted to live). Perhaps she should have been paying better attention to his words though and not have gotten so caught up in his love confession, perhaps then she might have realize what everyone else around them had clearly realized.
Yes, if August had been paying a little more attention she might have caught the whispers between Kayden and Dante speculating on if this was really what Liam was doing. She also might have realized the way Dante was quick to move to her brother and how he seemed to be holding him back. But August's attention was all on Liam and as she tried to prepare to open her mouth and express how she felt the very same about him she found her breath catching in her chest as she watched Liam get down upon one knee.
Yes, it should have been overly obvious that this was exactly what Liam had planned to do, but August had never actually given much thought to the fact that she might get engaged. The majority of her life she had been stuck in an arranged marriage, she knew her wedding date before she was even old enough to understand just what marriage was. An engagement was not something August had ever thought she would experience, even with Seb dead. It seemed almost silly now as time slowed around them, silly to think that he wouldn't give her this - a stupid moment that went against everything they had been raised to expect.
It truly seemed that in that moment there was no one else, just the two of them. She wasn't sure exactly when her hand had gone to her mouth (maybe it was when he got to his knee, or maybe it had been when he actually presented the ring - she honestly couldn't be sure) but she knew she was struggling to find her breath, and even more so to find her words. There was so much she wanted to say, so much she wanted to tell him. She could feel the tears that were sliding down her cheeks, of course she would cry at a moment like this - at least these were not tears of sadness. August wasn't sure how long she was standing there looking at him in shock, no doubt it just felt like a long moment because that was what happened when one was placed in these situations. As she found her breath she could only open and close her mouth a few times in a failed attempt to push words past her lips before she just gave up entirely.
Her arms were around his neck in no time and her lips meeting with his as she dropped to her knees with him. Kiss after kiss pressing yes after yes into his lips. English. French. Maybe both at once. She didn't know nor did she care - he would understand and that was all that mattered. Only when she finally felt she could find some words she she pull always taking a second to wipe under her eyes even though she knew she was still crying. Still, he face held a smile larger than it ever had before, "Yes. Yes, a thousand times yes. This life, the next life - yes. I love you Liam, yes."

Almost a million words that I could say, but none of them will do. So many years that I have lived, but it feels like I've just begun. Out of the seven billion people, baby, you're the only one.
Liam had always been selfish and self-centered, more worried about himself than others so he wasn’t really aware of how much his proposing might piss people off. He had long since accepted that fact that he wouldn’t really get a choice, his parents and grandfather were expecting him to propose to Lauren and make it good. Not many people realized that Liam was not the type that people told what to do. Sure he let August basically run him but it was his choice and that’s why he decided that it had to be done this way. Neither of them were given any choices and August especially never really had a say in anything. In a way he just wanted to give her a choice, not assume that they would suddenly be engaged and married without her approval. If he was being honest then he was really trying to make up for the fact that he wasn’t there for her when she needed him the most. He couldn’t travel back and change things but he sure as hell could make sure she was happy for the rest of her life.
Liam waited for her answer as he watched her face, he had never been more nervous in his life. Logically he knew that she would say yes, but he wasn’t sure after all she’d be stuck with him forever. He wasn’t exactly the best person as people went and she could’ve done way better, even if he would’ve secretly hated any guy she would’ve picked beside him. Liam prided himself in being an American, he vehemently denied his knowledge of french only because it meant that he was slowly becoming enamoured with not only his little French canadian but also those stupid disney movies she made him watch. Even so he wasn’t aware of the fact that half his fiancee’s words were in French, they all just sounded English. He would never admit that he had grown accustomed to her switching back and forth it was normal. He didn’t speak French he spoke Augustine as corny as it sounded. Since she didn’t speak much he wanted to make sure that he understood her when she did.
As much as he’d hate to admit it, he did exactly what he saw those idiots do in the stupid movies. He picked her up and spun her around, with this stupidly awful big smile on his face. He felt like he had just won the lottery or something, he didn’t even care about how much Nate was going to kill him. “I’m glad you said yes.” He wanted to say ‘but wait there’s more’ like the guy in that commercial thing he had seen once. He knew that it was stupid but he was just too giddy to care about what Nate might feel. He did however shoot a thankful look at Dante and Kayden even though the later did nothing at all. After he quickly but gently led his fiancee towards the boat so Gibby could whisk her away before Nate found out. He wasn’t sure if he should warn her now or wait, he was sure if he said something she’d figure it out. It’s not like the girl was stupid, quite the opposite she was incredibly smart.
“I have one more surprise for you but you have to follow Gibby okay?” He asked her with a smile on his face, as the boat started to drift off. He wasn’t okay with the boat leaving the dock, he would surely be subjected to whales and whatever else decided to pop up uninvited to his wedding. Not to mention how rude they were, they didn’t even Rsvp. It sounded silly even to him as he watched August walk away. Smiling sheepishly he turned to his three best friends muttering a thanks to Dante, and backing away from Nate as to not be in distance of whatever black lash was sure to follow him. He just needed Nate to remain blissfully unaware for just a little while longer, at least long enough for the wedding to be over.

You need a doctor baby, You scared?
Liam Ifinoh was a dead man. Nate did not care that this had most likely been obvious - after all he'd known for some time now that his befriend was in love with his little sister, that was hardly a relevant fact at this moment in time. It all sort of blurred together for Nate; one moment they were arriving to go whale watching the next they were on the boat and he was being held back by that damn Carpethos guy.
Now Nate was a reasonable guy....or well reasonable enough. There was no way he could attack Liam in front of August, no as much as he would like to deny it he knew how his sister felt about the idiot - but he also knew how he felt about him at that moment in time too. There was no question, Liam was going to have to die for this. The nerve - that sheer nerve of him to asking her to marry him with out even asking for his very own blessing. What did it matter that Nate was never going to give anyone his fucking blessing to marry Gus - no one, NO ONE, was worthy enough of his innocent little sister, let alone this fils de salope. Yes it made his stomach twist and his mind haze up as he could only find himself thinking about how it would feel to wrap his hands tightly around Liam's neck
"C’est vraiment des conneries! Where do you get off you stupid-" His voice was raised but as he tried to get to the ass he only found himself all the more restrained by the Carpethos. Of course, logically, Nate knew this was best, he also knew he needed to keep clam. This idiot had planned this out didn't he? That was why he had done it around muggles because he knew - he knew - that Nate would no approve and he had to make sure that it was somewhere that Nate couldn't use magic or expose magic really. "You are so dead when we get off this boat Ifinoh!" Nate growled through gritted teeth. Did Liam expect that he would jump for joy at the prospect of being brothers in law? Surely Liam knew better than to think this idea was going to be embraced with open arms.
At least he had some time to figure out how to bring an end to all of this, after all it wasn't as if Liam had managed to set up a surprise wedding too, no he was too much of an idiot to plan that far in advance. And Gus would know better, right? There was no way his baby sister would ever go along with such a blasphemous act - right? Liam would never hold a wedding in front of muggles....would he?

Liam was well aware of the dangers of asking August to marry him in the way that he did. Which was of course why he planned everything. Marcy convinced August to follow her to the bathroom the way that girls did. He never understood why they had to travel in packs. However he was glad that August wasn't around to see Nate threatened him. No matter how angry Nate was Lia wasn't gonna allow the jerk to ruin his wedding. It didn't take a genius to know that as sson as Nate got him alone he was dead. Just like it didnt take a genius to know that he had hurry shit up before Nate found a way to feed him to the whales.
"Now now Nate, lets not get testy. We wouldnt want you to get kicked off the boat you'll miss the entertainment." Liam was way too giddy to think about anything as the captian asked people to clear the way for the wedding arch to be placed. Kayden looked at him like he was crazy and Liam could only smile in response. He went to stand over by the wedding arch taking out the clip on bow tie he stole from a store. It didnt help that it was an ugly stripped yellow color. He couldn't find a black one but that was okay. He waited there forever smirking at Nate the whole entire time. A smirk which changed to a smile once the wedding song march thing played through the speakers. He folded his hands behind his back trying not laugh att he struggling nate.
Then he saw his soon to be wife walking towards him and his jaw dropped. She was beautiful, no she was magnificent the way she seemed to float down the aisle. He could cry from being happy he would, however he was a man and a man such as himself didn't cry he did however grin like an even bigger idiot if that was possible. When she finally made her way to him, he coukd resist stealing a Kiss before speaking "you look beautiful, breathtakingly so. Did i mention that i love you yet?"

You ought to give me wedding rings
Gibby, disguised as a child with the help of some magic, had brought August her wedding dress. Some might find it strange that she had a wedding dress, seeing as there hadn't exactly been time to get one. Still August had the dress long before today, Gibby had started making it back when she was sixteen as she had been intended to marry at eighteen. Of course it was not the dress that her mother and father had wanted for her wedding with Seb, no, it was the dress August had wanted for her wedding with Liam. She had dreamed of it for years and had hated the traditional long sleeved and long necked white dress that was expected. This dress was short and lacy white, a dress that was clearly made specifically for her.
It was surreal being buttoned into the dress, she was really going to marry the man she had been in love with for most of her life. She could barely keep track of the time that passed between being whisked away and dressed to finding herself under a makeshift wedding arch with Liam and a boat captain. If this was just a dream - which she half believed it might be - she didn't ever want to wake up. It was hard not to melt into his stolen kiss (she barely even heard the no-maj captain make a offhanded joke about how that part wasn't till the end). Of course a blush flushed across her face when Liam complimented her, it didn't matter how many times he called her beautiful he could always make her blush. "You might have mentioned once or twice - or a few times."
Her grin was from ear to ear as she looked at him - her very soon to be husband. It was hard to pay attention to anything other than him, the words of the captain lost on her until the vows. It was amazing she didn't mess them up, though she did add her own special remarks to him in her native French Canadian knowing he knew exactly what she was saying to him (poor Nate as well) - and than, they were married. The weight of the ring on her finger was strange, but a good strange. It was something she had wanted for so long and now it was real - she was his wife and he was her husband.
August's hand was clasp tightly to Liam's as the nomajs clapped and cheered for the new husband and wife, she couldn't keep her eyes off of him for too long but she found herself look out to their friends - finally they were going to be able to make the life they had always wanted. She looked to her new huband, a grin across her face, "I can't believe to pulled this all off!" It wasn't that she doubted his ablitiy to plan an event, but Liam had never been much of a planner. He had always been about huge gestures, and this was the largest yet.
