Look here, what Do you see? Are You Looking Forward to Get Tangle Up in Me? FULL NAME Shin Teramoto, currently known as Belveder. AGE & BIRTHDAY twenty three born on 01-AUG-2001) OCCUPATION Mahoutokoro graduate/ Désir manager BLOOD STATUS Halfblood FACE CLAIM Mizushima Hiro WAND TYPE 13 inches, Centaur Hair and Demiguise Hair, Monterillo wood. PATRONUS An ocelot, or he was told it is one rather than a leopard which he originally thought it is. PETS N/A ABILITIES/ SPECIES Full Vampire - bitten by a vampire who was passing by the area, she came across the bloody scene in the Teramoto household. Curious, she went inside to take a look and found a near-dead Teramoto Shin lying on the pool of his own blood, barely breathing. She bit him, attracted by his beautiful face she was seized by the desire to save the young man from that inevitable death, then bring him home to the coven she's staying with. The transition took about a week, she has almost given up hope and wondered has her bite save him at all, or has he gone beyond saving, his mind too damaged that he has became a comatose with no mind, it was a relieve when he finally woke up. Startled but Shin managed to adapt to this new life fast, a man who thought he has died but he was given another chance at life. He quickly got used to his extra strength, speed and senses and make use of them like a vampire who has been alive for decades instead of just days. Within two months Shin caught the attention of the coven leader, appearing charming is almost a second gift tagging along with having a beautiful face, he was soon transfered to London with Désir came under his care. Legilimency - It is the Teramoto family's skill. Shin was taught to learn it soon as he turn five and shown magical ability. It took him seven long years to learn, two more years to master it so he could come and go out of a human's mind as he wished. Shin often uses this skill to tell if the others are being not honest with him, or listening in to his opponent's thought when he's in an important conversation/ negotiation so to make them do something he wants them to do. That's also how he pleases his cover leader and even the important customers who comes visit Désir. Tell me who you are, I'm sure you're some kind of superstar. Free Style There's always a reason for something to happen. "Belveder." "Belveder?" "Your name, your new alias from now on love," she said with a bell-like laugh, like she found the question silly. Perhaps he is silly in her eyes, perhaps he has been silly all along. Perhaps silliness is what get him here in the first place, in this foreign room, looking at a stranger who have probably saved him from an ultimate death. "Why Belveder?" He asked, frowning deep. The sound of his voice isn't like his voice at all, smoother it sounds, but his throat felt hoarse from the days passed without intake of water, his mouth tasted like salt and sands. Shin glanced around the room, searching. He should ask her perhaps, but he doesn't know her. "Because you're beautiful," she answered, tilting her head to a side like this is simple matter of fact, a question isn't worth dwelling on. Light steps made no sound on the floor the lady flitted over and sat herself down beside him, one hand reached out she trailed a line down his left cheek. Shin gasped out loud involuntary, caught surprised at the sudden intimate movement. "Wh- Who are you? And where am I?" All his questions did was just amused her, from the look of it, she just smiled in reply, "One at a time, my child. Come on, you might feel better once you've drink this." following her words and a wave of her wand a glass of something red appeared in her hand. Is it wine? the first thought entered his mind, followed closely his silent wondering is she crazy. What's so amusing about him? He almost lost his life trying to save his family - or the remaining of them; he wounded and killed people, in the name of protection, but does it makes his actions alright? Would everything else be alright? For a long moment Shin just sat there watching her, she called him beautiful but he was sure dozen of girls got their heart broken just looking at her, she's perhaps the most beautiful woman he ever seen in his life, with that perfectly symmetrical face, her every tilt of head and a lift of the corners of her lips makes his breath caught in his throat. What is she doing? Why is she here? Why did she save him? Well he was just assuming that she has saved him. Slowly, Shin reached out a hand for the glass in her hand. It wasn't wine, he knew it soon as he brought the glass close to his nose and took a sniff. Taken aback the man dropped the glass, only watching her hand reached out to rescue it from its inevitable fall, not even a drop of its content spills out. He knew then, he knew she ain't just a simple girl, not even a simple witch. "Who are you?" And another question escaped his lips, Shin swallowed hard, eyes dashing down to the glass of red liquid in her hands, blood, she offered him blood, for reasons so obviously now as the strange craving seized him. The young man lifted his eyes back up to her doll-like face. It doesn't scare him, strangely, not yet. He was just waiting for the answers she hasn't give him, answers which he needs so he can understand what's going on. That smile spread on her face is ever so graceful, perfect even, like everything of her seems to be. "Wrong question, Bel, the more appropriate one should be what am I - or I rather put it as, what are we?" The last memories he has before he blacked out was fighting Fukushima Eiji, his long time best friend has changed so much during the years they spent apart. The dreams to make the world a better place they've once talked about has probably been forgotten, long cast away for whatever new desire born within Eiji. He's no more the boy he once know. "Why are you doing this?" Shin asked, reflecting within his dark irises anger that would make any lesser man tremble, but Eiji isn't just another man. The two of them has known each other since they are young, they played together, trained together, they've known one another their whole life until it changed one day, that one day when there just isn't any play date anymore, and they've stopped hanging out, stopped being friends because... Well, no reasons was given, but Shin has thought that Eiji has simply caught up in the family training. He did too, which followed closely by the need to train his younger brother on the family art, the need to be a good example and the need to make sure Ryo won't get into more troubles than he has already did. That boy though, seems like troubles has a way of finding him instead, Shin couldn't help himself but worries. Perhaps sending him away with Rei might not be the best idea he has, how would he take care of himself in the outside world? He can't even boil water to make a cup of tea, how is he going take care of Rei as well as himself now? There isn't time to worry too much though, spells started shooting out of wands tips and Shin has just enough time to dodge them, shooting his own stunning spell back at his opponent as he rolled out of harm's way. What he wasn't expecting is Eiji's intention to kill. This isn't like when they are playing with wooden swords, chasing one another across the backyard screaming dead threats at top of their voices; this isn't child's play, it is the real deal, one of them will die at the end of this fight. The final clash of wands left Eiji lying on the ground, the permanent paralyze hex hit him on the head, killing him on the spot, while Eiji's spell like million invisible knifes cutting through Shin's body, he was left lying on the pool of his own blood, the pool that was slowly spreading across the ground. This will be the end of him, he remembered himself was thinking, at the same time he wondered has Ryo managed to escape, and bring Rei as far away from danger as possible. "Shin, Rei will be in your charge." Startled, Shin looked up from the file in his hands, disbelieve colored his face as he stared at Daiki Teramoto. "Why me father? As per according to the info we have about him, Rei would be closer to Ryo's age, letting Ryo-" "Ryo is yet to qualify," his father waved a hand, cutting Shin off. "Even though he has now mastered Legilimency, there are still plenty to teach him before he could take up this responsibility to protect our most precious gem. So that duty will rest upon your shoulders Shin, don't disappoint me." "I won't," he promised, confident rang loud in his voice Shin is no doubt sure of his own skills, magical or close up combat skills, Shin has put in all his effort into learning, knowing one day he might be chosen to be a protector. It is the family legacy, as the oldest heir of the 12 families he has long came to term with the crushing responsibility, that day if one of the Elemental Stones will come to be under the Teramotos's care. The thing is, he knows about protecting the stones, not a fourteen years old boy who has tragically lost his family. "Father, what do you mean by Rei being the Precious gem though?" Shin asked, couldn't help himself. Curiosity is his besetting sin, that burning need to know even if there are times knowing too much gets him in troubles. A trait his younger brother shared with him, yet unlucky of Ryo to have this trait paired with his reckless nature, making him a nuisance in their parents eyes. Daiki shook his head, as if disapproving, though it shouldn't be of his questions, because his father often welcome Shin's questions. "You wouldn't guess that, the Osuka couple has actually used the stone they're supposed to be protecting on their son," a note of surprise tainted his words, Shin's eyes widened too as the words sank in, "The Soul Stone, it is now inside Rei, for some unknown reason it is bounded with the boy and stayed inside him, no one has a way to retrieve it from him and no one has any idea what should they do, or will it have any side effect on the boy. All we know is he got this strange ability allowing him to see into another's past, sometimes future." "Doesn't the Osuka's always have the gift of visions and premonitions?" Just like the Teramoto skills at mastering Legilimency, the Koizume's at their magical swordart, the Fukushima's gift at Occlumency... "True, but never one as strong. We are still yet to be certain of what effect the stone will have on him too." "Mmm, I get it," nodding, the frown on his face deep, "I'll protect him with all I have father, I won't disappoint you." *** They shared a bond. Ryo and Rei. They share a psychic bond none has seen since about a century ago. Truth to be told, a part of Shin was happy, because of this it prove to both Ryo and his family that the younger son of Teramoto isn't just a shadow to Teramoto Shin, that Teramoto Ryo is indeed, his own person, and someone who's capable of amazing things too. Even achieve something as rare as a psychic gift long lost no one ever thought it still exist anymore. How hard has he tried to show this little brother of his that he's capable of something special, miraculously how things just fell into place. "Ryo should be the one protecting Rei, father," That evening after, Shin told Daiki. "They share a bond, that makes Ryo a more suitable candidate in looking after Rei than I do. Not that I am saying I will completely leave things in his hand, and I will make sure to train Ryo harder so he will catch up to his skills." Shin isn't avoiding his responsibilities, yet so much that he love his little brother he rather letting him be that someone special, he has more than his own share of spotlights growing up having all his parents' attention on himself. It isn't like he didn't enjoy it, he did, and he thought he should share what he always have. Life hasn't been fair to Ryo who has always been a shadow to himself. "Give him a chance father," Hearing no reply from Daiki, Shin added, his dark eyes searching for a hint on his father's face, though nothing show. He often wonder how a person could be expressionless like his father often display. "Make sure he won't mess up," at long last Daiki said, the end of sentence followed by a sigh which signaled more of resignation than disappointment. Perhaps his father doesn't disapprove Ryo rather than worrying about him. They all worries. "Come on! Hurry!" he ran, his long legs carry him effortlessly across the school ground, "Come on, you're going to miss it!" Shin was probably more excited than Eiji who was trailing several steps behind him. Shin always live the fireworks night, for all the brilliance that only last about half a minutes, the beauty that once you've missed it you've missed it, there's no second chances, there's no repeat, that's very much like life. The two boys reached the waiting crowd moments before the first firework rocketed up the sky, enough time for him to meet up with Yachiko, holding her as they both tilted their heads up to look at the multicolored lights exploded midair, Shin couldn't imagine a life more contended than what he has right then, he couldn't imagine another life where he lives without Yachiko - the love of his life even though making such claim at the age of sixteen sounds ridiculous - or Eiji. No one could predict how life is going to change for him later, following Eiji's change of attitude Yachiko disappeared, the Task Force told him she could be kidnapped. It was two weeks later they found her body floating down a river, already bloated to a shape thar is unrecognizable. Watching the Aoshi couple cried over their dead daughter, their only kid, Shin couldn't even open his mouth to say how much his heart was broken, too. Yachiko is perhaps the only woman he'll ever love, she's his only one too. Ryo was the one keeping him afloat then, spending the hours training his little brother he could at least takes his mind off the gapping hole inside his heart. That and Ryo's easy nature which just allow one to feel better, Shin knows his brother could be someone special, someone amazing. He wasn't wrong, he just never know how much he could be right until later, way later. From the moment he knows to think to the age of twelve Shin ever had so many dreams, he wanted to be a dragon trainer, a healer, a professional Quidditch player, and even a guitarist for the world famous band - he soon realized what he want to be: a hit wizard who protects innocents lives. He didn't get to live his dream, family duty somewhat came standing in the way. But he understand that someone has to take the responsibility. Shin doesn't regret it, not if it means Ryo can be who he wants to be. Shin isn't someone who will give anything to help anyone, but he knows who's important and who he should cherish in his life. His brother is someone, he's all that Shin has left in the end, Ryo is one who he would even give his life to protect, like he eventually did. But that wasn't the ending. There's no good and evil in this world; Just the desires waiting to be fulfill. Sitting at the top level in a plush chair - which shaped more like a throne, royal purple velvet seat and arm rests, smooth mahogany wood made up the frame, a glass of white wine held gracefully between his fingers. Belveder watched the crowd below, their eyes busily drinking in the dancing figures on the stage, three of the most popular consorts in his house. Since he became a vampire, Belveder learned a few new things about life, it is that sometimes no matter what you do or how hard your try, you might not get what you want in life. Some people are just lucky, more are just dissatisfied, human desires are an endless hole which would never be fill up. Looking at these pathetic men and women walked through the door, most rich and powerful, they might even have a family at home, a beautiful wife or handsome husband waiting for their return, but they will never realized it, they will never realize how they can make things different. They'll never know where to stop. He chose to take over this place for this reason and this reason only, he wanted to watch how human corrupt themselves, to understand how far a human's desire would go, what they will give to fulfill that hole which is impossible to fill up. Let's us all just be friend, And together we can start a new trend. |
