It's been a minute since I've ate these words and swallowed

End of term was near, you could almost feel it in the winds. As the days went on more people would turn to the library and their studies but for now plenty of students were keen to prioritize play over revision. Altair was one of those students. As a fifth year she did have the rather important O.W.L.s approaching, the way she saw it though her plan was to play for Holyhead Harpies so this sort of play was actually more like - studying. Normal quidditch would limit how many could partake in this free game though so the mix of students had opted for a fun competition of toss the quaffle.
Altair always enjoyed a good game with the other students. Any excuse to get on a broom was a good enough excuse for her. The games couldn't last all night though. Dinner was approaching and the players were tiring after a day of studying and now hard play. She was one of the last to come in, the group had died in size through out the game but when it was time to call it a day there were a decent few remaining. The gryffindor was still beaming from the thrill as she trotted along the path way.
It was easy to forget about the serious matters in her life when she let go and allowed herself to have fun. She wasn't like her elder brother - she could never be so serious. "I hope everyone decides to come again next time, its always far more fun when we have the pitch packed with flyers." Altair didn't address any of the other students by name, it was more a general statement to the unintentional travel partners.
