With Blake gone and Kayden not yet out of school Gerone had a short window of - well free time. She wasn't a hunter, truth be told he was barely a part of that world. Of course she was more involved now than she had ever been, and obviously she was far more aware of just what sort of life she had been living. It was strange realizing she had been somewhat ignorant to the truth of her family's life, and yet - that was 'purebloods' for you.
It was strange not having Blake dictating her every action, strange not having to constantly be watching the man's back. Of course, once Kayden graduated Gerone knew her life could go right back to how it was before, no one was entirely sure just what was going to happen to any of the families now that it was in the hands of Kayden, Dante, and Liam.
Out of the three heirs Gerone knew Liam the best, they had crossed paths a number of times over the years and she had come to think of him as a friend. Dante was her cousin, by name - sort of. Everyone was still unclear on if he was Carpethos or Panos now - there was a strong push for the Panos name to just die, completely. Gerone wants to stay out of the politics though, like she always tried to do.
With the freetime Gerone found herself seeking out the company of Liam. He was someone who she could talk to about some of the things that were coming. It was a turning point in the hunter world, change was coming and it was time to figure out where you stood. Gerone was going to have to figure out where she stood in the future they were building.
Standing outside the Ifinoh house Gerone knocked. Of course she expected a house elf to be greeting her and than showing her off to where ever Liam was lurking about in his home, she just hoped the darn thing wouldn't take its sweet time.

Liam was in an unnatural state of pure bliss, in fact he couldn't remember the last time he was as happy as he currently was. What's worse is that he had actually had a productive day. Worked on the last two chapters of his book and even looked into maybe giving a lecture at some point. His grandfather was gone, Blake was gone, and he was almost 25 and married. He had nothing to worry about, unless you counted the fact that he was trying to stay sober for his August. That was the hardest part of all of this, letting go to the crutch that most of the hunters used to numb the pain. Liam wasn't an idiot, he knew that hunters had questionable morals. He just hadn't had to actually live with that until he had gotten sober. Still guilty conscious aside, He was happily strolling through the house that was now completely his. He stopped briefly in the foyer to tap at the fish tank housing the jelly fish. That was the only reason he heard the knock at the door and walked over to open it. He was surprised Hippie hadn't beat him to the door, he must've been busy with something around the house. It was a bright and smiling Liam that opened the door. His hair brushed, decently dressed sober idiot. He was a bit surprised that G was at his door. He hadn't seen her in awhile, then again he hadn't seen many people since the killing spree, and then trying to figure out where everyone stood with everything changing. "hey what's up?" HE asked stepping aside for her to walk in. He hoped this was a social visit with all the changes going on, he didn't want to think about politics. He was secretly hoping she was there to get high or something. It had been so long her was starting to wonder if he'd ever see his favorite brand of Vodka again. He led her to the sitting room and plopped down on the couch, "You want something to drink?"GERONE CARLOTTA CARPETHOS

It was fair to say that Gerone was a bit taken back when Liam actually opened the door and greeted her himself. She might have even blinked a few times, just to make sure she was seeing right. It was hard not to grin in a sort of way - Liam had an infectious smile and it was utter madness to see him at the door in that moment.
Truth be told it was still strange seeing a happy Liam, he hadn't been this sort of cheerful since they all were teenagers. Maybe he wasn't that happy, but it was as close as he had been in a while. Regardless of martial bliss there was no doubt in Gerone's mind that Liam still had some shit to work through be it related to himself or someone else. They all had shit they needed to work through.
"Ow ya goin mate." she said in her typical Straya fashion. Her gaze went to her feet as she stepped into Liam's place. As she followed Liam it was hard not to wonder about some of the modification he had made still she tried not to linger too much on these new additions to the very old house. Liam had always been a little different and his now wife was...well they were a suited match and Gerone did have a personal fondness for them both but they clearly were black sheep in the family flocks. Maybe romance was still alive in this day in age - or maybe Liam tried too many potion ingredients back in his school years.
As Liam asked about the drink Gerone was quick to restore her gaze to him. It almost seemed like a moot question - what next would he ask her if she wanted to partake in some other relaxing activity? "Course, Ifinohs are meant to have money so don't be cheap when ya pull the bottles." She gave him a wink, let him know she was joking...mostly. "Really though, make it good."
For someone who wanted too, or maybe even needed to talk Gerone was terrible at it - you could even say she hated it. Words never had been her biggest strength, ask anyone and they might tell you she was a women of few words. At least liquor could loosen lips, and Liam was nutty enough maybe he'd have some wisdom in the end. Or maybe they would end up drunk - either seemed like a well enough fix for now.
