The Leaky Cauldron was Jodi's second home. When he wasn't sleeping or playing at a show he was here eating and serving guests of the wizarding pub. He worked quite hard to be where he was and to Jodi success was never measured by how much money one had, but that they had at least touched one person to make them happy. The twenty-seven year old grew up in a very musical world, all of his siblings were a part of the music world, and the Clarke surname carried well through muggle London. Music wasn't just a thing to the Clarke family, no music was life for the family. Richard and Naomi had raised their children well with this world.
Rewind back so many years ago to when Jodi left his private school in change for a wizarding school. Even then it was hard to give up what he loved. While at school Jodi found the time to play music whenever there was free time. Music could be heard through corridors in the late afternoon, sometimes in the early morning. On nice days it could be heard in the courtyard. Wherever he could plop himself down and play was where he would play. He met some of his friends this way.
It was a rather quiet day at The Leaky Cauldron. Not much for business, so Jodi pulled out his acoustic guitar and began to play some tunes on the instrument for some ambient sound within the pub. Jodi often did this when business was slow. He'd prop himself up at the bar and play. Sometimes he'd sing but he hadn't ever particularly been a fan of his own voice by itself so more often than not he would just play.
Jodi had made friends in the wizarding world with music. While The Poor Alchemists tended to be more popular in the muggle world due to some of their more whimsical lyrics. Jodi had grown up in the muggle world. He went to concerts as a child, as a teenager, even now as an adult, he enjoyed going to some concerts for bands that he'd grown up with. Fame was never a huge thing for him in the wizarding world, but he had friends who had become more successful here in the wizarding world, sometimes he would find himself working with them, even touring. His biggest friend was one that he met many years ago back in Hogwarts. The front man to The Vehement Harpies, Bailey McConnell. A friend that had essentially become like a brother to him.
Thinking of the little devil, he heard the door to the pub open and his blue eyes looked up and then the strumming began to stop. A smile came across his face as his eyes had fallen upon Bailey. ”What brings you to London?” he asked as he stood up and put his guitar away. ”Can I get you your usual?”
