holy water cannot help you now
Before I get to into this I guess I should explain since this is half a request and half a plot - each 'sinner' can be either an existing or a new character. I wouldn't say this is the start of a group that is going to take of the world, sure they are not good people (its a sinner's plot....why would it be good people?) but that doesn't mean that they are...evil per se. So, what exactly is this? Think of it more as a crime circle - everyone benefits from the others in their own ways but they don't need each other, they each have their own lives, their own agendas - it could change, why? Because this isn't a set plot! Its just a plot that will give us just another reason to thread together! Anyways...shall we get to the featured presentation now?

A proud look.
A lying tongue.
Hands that shed innocent blood.
A heart that devises wicked plots.
Feet that are swift to run into mischief.
A deceitful witness that uttereth lies.
Him that soweth discord among brethren.
It was Superbia who brought everyone together. The born leader of the seven sinners. Superbia saw the potential that each sinner could bring to the table. The idea was not solid - at first it was nothing more than a social experiment to see if bringing the seven together could actually result in something beneficial. They all had their own motives for accepting Superbia's offer of working together. They all had something to gain. They craved something with a hunger that never seemed to be satisfied.
Invidia, the one who can never win. Envy has always lives a tragic life. Picked-on by the world, a joke of a human being. For too long Envy has sat back and taken the world's beating. Envy craves what all the other sinners have. Lust's beauty. Wrath's power. Pride's confidence. The other sinners almost seem like a mockery to Envy's life with how they seem to be everything Envy could dream of being. Envy's frustration on the matter is possibly Envy's biggest strength. Anyone who looks down on or pities Envy soon learns just how bad of an idea that is. Everything Envy doesn't have Envy wants and who ever tries to stop Envy from getting it had better watch out.
Gula, with a hunger and thirst that is never quenched. Gluttony's hunger runs deeper than craving fine foods and wines. Gluttony hungers for everything but can never find themselves satisfied. Gluttony will take their fill but not stop and often end up binging after indulging. They are their own worst enemy, self-destructive in nature and unable to change. They always want more and never know when or even how to stop. No one can have more than Gluttony, they make sure of this. Gluttony is easily motivated, possessive, selfish and spiteful. Often times Gluttony will try and take from the other sinners, feeling as if they are less deserving .
Avaritia, only the best is never enough. At least not for Greed. No Greed wants it all, needs it all. Wealth, women, men, power, fame, the world. It's never enough. It doesn't matter how much Greed gets, steals, or finds. The moment Greed has what they're after they find themselves moving on to great and better things. It's the joy of the hunt that keeps Greed going, knowing that somewhere out in the world there has to be something that will fill the empty void they have - something so grand that nothing else can compare. The best was made with Greed in mind after all, right?
Luxuria, emotionally stunted and overeager to please. Lust's every action seems to be ultimately for a flesh reward. Lust knows a little about a lot of things and a lot about a very few things. If . Lust doesn’t think it will aid later on, then they don’t bother to either learn or remember it. Lust prefers to rely on others to get what they want and is willing to reward in the why that Lust knows best. Seduction is the langue that Lust knows best where as romance is foreign. Commitment is too much for Lust as they feel as if no one can satisfy the burning passion inside them. Lust is regarded as the most beautiful of the sinners.
Superbia, more sinister and manipulative than most realize. Pride while on the outside is well maintained, social, suave, and endearing Pride is far from. Pride's actions are meant to benefit himself. Pride holds himself above all others sinners. Pride is the brains behind everything - without Pride none of the sinners would have met and none of them would be able to reap the benefits of Pride's masterfully crafted plan. Pride is all about appearances and often does not wish to be seen with the other sinners - their mannerisms often being too distasteful for Pride's likes. Not that this has or ever will stop Pride from using the sinners to his benefit and gain, why do the dirty work when there are others like Wrath and Lust who can do it for you?
Acedia, the uninvolved, the uncommitted, the uncaring. Sloth is the laziest and usually one of the last sins to arrive anywhere. It takes its time in doing the simplest of things and tends to trick other people into doing its dirty work. While the other sins run around causing mayhem Sloth stays in a solitary place and works from the inside out. Sloth learns what makes people tick from observation and uses it against them. Often times Sloth stays far away from the actual problem and turns a blind eye to issues finding tasks are better left for others to pick up.
Ira, the bitter to your sweet, the bite to your bark. Wrath knows what it's like to have a fire burning deep inside. A steady growing flame - an ember among ashes ready to ignite and spread through the bloodstream and heat Wrath's bones until nothing is left but liquefied resolves and an urge that can only be satisfied when someone else gets hurt. Wrath has a false sense of control over his temper and is regarded as a hot head by his fellow sinners. No one is as destructive or vindictive as Wrath. Wrath is not one to rely heavily on others, they are a person of action taking the reins without thinking of the outcome.
