Free Style Charlotte who goes by Lottie was born on a cold morning in January 2008. She was born to two loving parents. She was an only child but wasn't raised spoiled as most only children were. Her parents always had friends over who would bring their children. Her parents were frequent hosts of parties and barbeques. Lottie grew up running around and chasing other kids on toy brooms that only flew high enough to barely hold them off the ground. She was always a friendly girl and this type of interaction at a young age gave her a sense of having siblings. They would get in trouble together and they would get praise together. It was as if they were all being raised together. Lottie showed her first sign of accidental magic when was 8 years old. She tripped on a step on the front porch and froze her ice cream from falling onto the ground. While her parents were freaking out about their little girl showing signs of magic, Lottie was just relieved that she didn't have to give up the creamy goodness that was her caramel swirl ice cream cone. She had always had a sweet tooth that mostly took over her life. She always carried something her bag just in case it struck and her main stash wasn't in reach. Lottie got her Hogwarts letter at the age of 11 like every other kid and was eager to get her books and supplies and go off to school. She was a little upset to leave her parents but she was excited to be with her friends and start her formal wizarding education. She knew she was going to love school, just thinking of all of her subjects made her want to explode with excitement. She was greeted with a somewhat rude awakening when she got to her first potions lesson and ended up running out of class crying because she couldn't understand the instructions and her potion refused to turn from the orange to green color it was meant to. Since, she has gotten better, but still was no where above average. Her favorite subjects were History of Magic and Transfiguration. She was plenty good at all of her subjects (with the exception of Potions) but still had no idea what she wanted out of life and what she wanted to be and do after she graduated Hogwarts. Lottie spent her days at Hogwarts lounging in the Hufflepuff common room when she couldn't be laying on the lawn by the lake writing in her journal, or in Hogsmead buying sweets to restock her super secret stash (at the bottom of her trunk under her socks). She loved exploring and walking around the castle with her friends. She loved her friends. She loved a lot of things. While Lottie was at times sort of weak and got emotional decently quickly, she was full of love. She truly had a Hufflepuff heart. She cared for Animals and People both the same, but though that Care of Magical Creatures lessons were frightening. Charlotte most loved Fall and Spring. She loved when the sun was out and sky was clear, but, it wasn't overly warm and she could still get away with wearing her favorite sweaters and jumpers when she wasn't stuck in her school robes. She appreciated Summer for the Holiday it gave her and the chance to spend time at home with her parents and friends. And she tolerated Winter and the cold snow, even though she was forced to stay inside of the castle, because of all of the fun that came along with family Chanukah celebrations and gifts. But fall and spring always brought along happy sensations within her being. It could never get better. Her owl was a lot like her in that way. The barn owl was overly feathery. In the winter, his feathers would get wet and make him uncomfortable, and during the summer, his feathers would make him overheat and all he wanted to do was collapse in his cage and, much like his owner, enjoy a few sweets. Let's us all just be friend, And together we can start a new trend. |
